Looking for heaven? This newly remodeled three bedroom, two bath log style cabin is as close as it gets. Cabin loaded with amenities including fireplace, foosball table, cable TVs, DVD players, high speed internet, washer/dryer, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, and more. Unbelievable view of Bear Mountain, very secluded and quiet. Huge wood deck out back with fenced in yard, wrap around deck out front with barbecue and patio set.

I was so happy with cool cabins... Then they did something that I would expect to happen To me in a third world country... They forgot to deliver firewood that I ordered... But things like that happen... However, when I called the next day they said sorry and I told them I will only need one bundle instead of three cause we only had one night left... They said no .. I had to pay for three.. I laughed and said what am I going to do with three... You people are the ones who didn't deliver the three the first night,( they should have brought one for free)...like I said this type of logic I usually get when I am in third world countries... I told them to not bring me anything ... I wonder if they ever refunded my cc... I better check

The cabin is surprisingly nice on the inside.. You can never tell what you have until you get inside, and wow, what a surprise. The cabin is newly renovated and everything is clean..-(thats always the scary thing with cabins) The jacuzzi in the back is nice, especially when the snow is falling.. Overall, our family had a great time and will be back.

The home was very nice and comfortable. However, the home is on a hill with a steep driveway and two flights of steep steps and stairs to get to the front door. I just turned 50 and I am in decent shape but it was not fun going up and down the stairs.
The home was walking distance to Bear Mountain and the views were gorgeous. -

Our party of 5 (2 adults, 3 teen boys) had a great time. There were a couple of issues but they weren't a big deal. The dishwasher and disposal cannot be plugged in at the same time. The gas grill was dismantled (?) so we gave up and went out for dinner. The foosball table was also not put together and we couldn't figure it out so we played cards instead. Lastly, there are not a lot of baking dishes so if you like to cook, you may want to bring your own baking dishes (for example a wisk, pie tin and 13x9 pan). The driveway is steep and a bit tricky to back down in an SUV. On the plus side the house is warm, comfy and enough room for all. The fireplace is wonderful and the king bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and mercifully squeekless. :) Plenty of hot water for 5. One of the nicest cabins we've stayed at in big bear.

great cabin, great location, all was good! nice kitchen, pots pans and dihes were clean. heater and showers worked great as well. would stay again. driveway was a little too steep, but i guess it is big bear!!!
