My wife my dog and myself arrived Close to four p.m. to find the residence was not ready. When we did gain entry there are numerous flies in no flying insect spray. We also were not given an appropriate code to open the entry door. Furthermore we had specifically requested additional and specific food items or brands which were not purchased as agreed to prior to the visit. In addition we paid a large premium for what we thought was going to be access to a number of current movie releases available on demand via the cable system. What we found was that there was a package of three subpar Dvds and trash munchies.
my wife had also requested a delivery to Logey Lakefront of a Surprise anniversary present for me, it was our 45th anniversary.she made many inquiries at the Cool cabins office to see if the package was delivered during the time of our stay.the answer was no. After arriving home and spending a great deal of time contacting the office it appears that the package had been there the entire time. This suggests that there is a great deal of incompetence, organization or poor management.
lastly, as we experience previously the dock is littered with duck excrement which is not only unappealing but a health hygiene risk not quite as severe as Hanta virus
I paid a great deal of money to secure four days of stress-free and enjoyable vacation time from my busy professional activities.I am very disappointed with the results of this Vacation compared to my previous time spent at Logey Lakefront.

Thank you for taking your time to write this review. First off I would like to sincerely apologize for any miscommunication or errors on our behalf. I have taken quite a bit of time to examine and investigate the statements you made in this review. I would like to respond by saying that I found there to be some inaccuracy in some of the content that was posted. On the day you checked in one of our employees received a phone call from you inquiring as to whether or not there was air conditioning and also to report that there was bugs. You then came to our office where we happily gave you bug spray. Upon your departure we received another phone call from you and you stated that you could not re-enter the cabin, we then promptly made a new door code for you. As far as the food stock we are not generally accustomed to taking specific requests unless it is for allergy purposes but we made an exception in this case because you were a prior guest. When we received the fax with a specific list of items we were more than happy to accommodate you. We even went back to the store to purchase more items when we found that you were not satisfied. Next, I apologize for the confusion however unfortunately we do not offer a Movie Package of any sort and we would have been happy to refund you in full for the Movie Basket had we been informed that you we’re less than impressed with it. In regards to the package you mentioned that we were supposed to deliver we have no record of this and that is not a service that we would typically provide so I apologize if there are some wires being crossed on this issue but I hope that you found the package in question. Lastly I would just like to say that our staff works very hard and sometimes we are unsuccessful in satisfying each guest completely but we would love to try again. Please give us a call if you would like to allow us to do so.

The location was great. Priced too high. Dvd player did not work, no remotes for tvs except for Master Bedroom. Dryer turn on button was broken, Some of the burners on the stove did not turn on when the others were being used. Cabin smelt like dog pee when we got there had to open all the windows. Very hot upstairs in master bedroom.

It was a great vacation. I'm not sold with cost of this particular cabin. The location is great. Right on the water with a private dock. I've stayed in much nicer, cleaner and better equiped cabins for less money. I think they need to start looking at the competition a little closer. Cool Cabins was accomodating, but won't book this particular cabin through them again.

The Logey Lakefront is the best lakefront cabin that big bear cool cabins has to offer that is reasonably priced. i tried booking another cabin for my vacation this year and it wasn't nice at all, then big bear cool cabins transferred me to another one that once again wasn't nice at all. lastly they were able to put me in the logey (since i stayed in this cabin last year i knew what to expect) and by far out of the 3 big bear cool cabins tried placing me in. Thank you to the cabin owners and big bear cool cabins for the great customer service and providing an amaizing cabin!!!

1/2 mile to Village and Cool Cabin check in. House is around 2000sq ft. and has everything you can possibly need (towels and sheets could use upgrading). The kitchen is fully loaded with a 5 burner stove, pyrex mixing bowls ,storage containers, ziploc bags, and aluminum foil. Bose ipod dock in kitchen along with Keurig coffee maker (bring extra K cups) and 2nd regular coffee maker. We had an issue with the front door not working, Made a 2nd call to the rental company so we could leave the house (the door wouldn't lock but was fixed by locksmith). Overall fairly clean, about equivalent of 3- 3 1/2 star hotel stay. The couch, bunk bed and patio furniture have been updated from the pictures. Outside the grass is artificial turf and the dog run is nice. There's putters and golf balls for the putting green, horse shoes, a fooseball table and plenty of TVs. Himalayan Restaurant delivers to house w/ $30 purchase (recommend for Indian food), Cowboy Steakhouse expensive but good (happy hour deals) is 2 min walk, Red Barron delivers (good), Village Pizza (decent sandwiches), Grizzly Manor Cafe (good- long wait and slow service, try blueberry pancakes or biscuits and gravy). Starbucks, Stater Bros, Vons, CVS and Riteaid all 2 ½ miles away. Moonridge animal Park 3 miles away (little pricey, small but lots of animals). Ski slope couple miles away and lots of hiking trails within few miles (Champion Lodgepole Pine was easy hike but off road, off of Mill Creek Road)
Overall very comfortable. Layout is modern and the deck is awesome with a table to seat 6 outside with extra chairs, spa is on the same deck and has a great view. Plenty of afternoon shade in the summer and is a great place to eat dinner and stargaze. If you do nothing else, you can lounge on the deck and feed the ducks. Views from inside are great as well. Stayed for a week but I'd love to come back for a long weekend! Kids will love this place. :)

We received very good service from the people at Cool Cabins. After a little confusion over the alarm,(we set it off and didn't know the code to turn off) everything went pretty well. Has wonderful views, a really cool little sandy beach for the kids to play and a great sized deck. We enjoyed the horseshoes and little golf area.. even caught a few fish from the dock. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary utensils. The bed in the loft area was unusable and the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was pretty noisy but that is the only negatives to the whole trip. Had a great time. Thanks for the memories.. We will be back.

This cabin was very nice. The views of the lake were wonderful.It was clean and roomy.The location was great we walked to a steak house just down the street and the food was great also close to the village and not far from the ski slopes.We loved sitting outside and enjoying the lake,so relaxing and peaceful.We have recommended this cabin to our friends. Also check in was very smooth and quick.And the dog run was great!

The Logey is awesome, we spent 2 nights there with good friends and we had an incredible time, i have recommended the Logey to everyone but for sure we will be there again next year.
Also, they let us check in early which was great, really appreciated that. -

We came here with 9 people total and we all fit very comfortably. The cabin was well kept and very comfortable. At one point we realized the outside lights were not working, however somebody came right away and fixed that for us. We also noticed the dishwasher wasn't working on the morning that we were leaving, but it was already too late to call.
Great cabin, great location (within walking distance to the village). We would definitely stay here again! -

We have been renting cabins in Big Bear for 10 years and this is the best one yet. The cabin was beautifully furnished and not shabby like some tend to be. The beds were more comfy then home. The location right on the lake with those beautiful views of the mountains, sunrise/sunsets was very peaceful. Enjoyed the hot tub, putting green, horseshoes. Had some great bbqs on the deck. This will be our summer/fall choice from now on. Our guests had never been to BBL before and they also will be choosing this cabin for there future family trips. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Very relaxing. Lots to do. Can walk to Express Cowboy for Food. Taking away your trash was unexpected. Route 330 was closed due to fog on the way home. All in all a great time.

we only live a couple of hours away, so like to bring friends here when they visit. My brother came over for his 60th birthday and we invited a couple of other good friends. We loved the place but had a big disappointment on the last night when we had planned a big grill party and found out the grill was not working properly. We were really disappointed and the last night ended up not much fun with a bunch of wasted kebabs and meat.

The home,location and amenities in general are great. I would recommend this cabin to others and would like to visit this cabin again. However, I think that Cool Cabins needs to make sure that the cabin is ready at the time that was promised and they should be honest if it is not ready. As a result of Cool Cabins inability to honor the check in time it put a huge damper on our first day of vacation. In addition, everything should be in working order prior to check in and the furniture that is not in working order should be removed. e.g. torn outside patio furniture, bbq, etc. Putting that aside great vacation.

We really enjoyed staying at the Logey Lakefront it was so great to be on the lake. We brought our boat and it was great to have out own dock to go out whenever we wanted to. it was so relaxing sitting on the deck and watching the sunrise and sunset.Only one complaint it would have been nice to have comfortable chairs and table outside on the deck since that is where we spent most of the time. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

My Fiancee and a group of friend's went up to the Logey Lakefront for 4 nights and it was awesome! The lake was perfect to swim in, the jacuzzi was perfect after a day in the lake. The cabbin was in the middle of everything. It was a great week!!!

together there were 2 couples, we brought our motorcycles and Waverunners. We had a great time on the bikes cruising over to Lake arrowhead and around Big Bear. We had a wonderful time on the waverunners, cruising the lake and finding a restaurant/bar on the lake. I would recommend this vacation to anyone.
