The cabin was cute. We enjoyed the trip, close to the village and grocery store was very helpful.
The only two things that we found inconvenient were the linens provided for the sofa sleepers and the cleanliness . Linens were dirty and we found rodent droppings on sofa sleeper, vacuum cleaner didn't work and broom was in bad condition. Read more
Thank you for your review. We do apologize for the issues you had while at The Lazy Lazy Bear Lodge. We do have housekeeping on staff 24 hours a day, we would of been more than happy to send them over to do a touch up on the cabin. We look forward to welcoming you back to Big Bear and Big Bear Cool Cabins!

We arrived without clean towels, this was fixed within minutes, thank you. There was confusion with the DVD player, directions for how to use it and get it to show on the TV would have been appreciated. Overall, a wonderful time.
Needs plenty of maintenance

When we arrived the cabin smelled like smoke. In the upstairs bedroom towards the front there were spider webs in the ceiling the lamp had spider webs as well. The blankets that were in the first floor closet were dirty. The sofa bed was unbearable to sleep in you can feel all the springs, they need to replace the mattress. The people that are in charge need to focus more on the cleanliness of the cabin. We also stayed at the cedar chest and we had the same situation almost. The blinds in the bedroom would not close and it also was not as clean as we would have liked. Read more

Cabin is great for a family group this was our 2nd time and we loved it. The only downfall is you get 1 dish towel for the kitchen and 4 bath towels so with 14 people we had to wash them repeatedly. For the price you think they would stock you with linens but we brought sleeping bags and still froze. They could also use a nice set of forks , knives and pots and pans. Our cookiung pot was crooked scratched and old but it was all we had. The home is charming other than that if they invest into towels kitchen supplies and cleaning we will come back again. Read more

Almost perfect cabin

Everything wonderful... Beautiful cabin, spacious, close to town, great location, clean. But... Hot water in showers was horrible!! Maybe 2 showers got hot the entire 4 days! A tiny water heater looked like it was supposed to be good for the entire cabin. It was freezing outside and we all had to take cold showers!!

This place met our expectations and was exactly what we wanted for a house in the mountains. The house has wood throughout. Very spacious. Good for a large family or a group of friends. The play room is perfect for the kids.
