Tri-level two bedroom plus bonus room with rustic log furniture throughout, one and a half bathrooms, foosball table, fireplace, satellite TVs, DVD player, washer/dryer, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more. Deck with gas barbecue, fenced yard, and garage access.
Master bedroom has a cedar log king bed.
Bedroom two has a queen bed and satellite TV.
Bonus room has a bunk bed with full on the bottom and twin on the top.

We enjoyed our time at the Wren cabin. The yard and location are great. The house was pretty clean, unless you looked in the corners, but I felt that the main areas had been recently cleaned well. The kitchen was small and the stove was a little tempermental, but we were mostly just warming things up so it was ok. The BBQ on the patio was great and we enjoyed eating outdoors. Fooseball was fun but in the garage so it is isloted from everything else, and I am not sure how that works in the winter. Statelite TV was very limited on channels, unless you find QVC entertaining. The king bed was so comfy, I wanted to take it home! The couches, not so much.

I rely heavily on the the internet for lodging arrangments when planning my family's vacations. Initailly we chose Cool Cabins because they we're the most resonable in terms not requesting outlandish security deposits/cleaning fee but the added benefit was that we actually found a house that was so reasonable and what we thought best suited our needs for our weekend trip to Big Bear. The Wren house far exceeded what we antisipated going into it blind and soley booking this cabin based on internet photos & reviews(which is why I'm posting this reveiw). It was very clean and so cozy and just perfect for what we needed. The foosball table really kept our boys entertained(although may I suggest getting a ping pong table for the adults...=). The backyard was perfect for Bbq'ing and having a nice relaxing dinner outdoors. The house had all the amentities you could possible need (and I'm one who always travels prepared so I even brought up my own cooking pans, utensils & towels) but the kitchen had everything you would need to cook the perfect meal. The rooms were big and the beds we're so comfortable (even more comfortable than what I have at home..Lol...but no joke). The bathrooms we're all well stocked w/toilettries (Bath & Body Works at that) I just loved everything about this cabin, from the decore to the location. I definitely look forward to spending many more weekends at this cabin. I just wish we could have had one more day! Definitely a must rent!!! Kudos to Cool Cabins!

The best part of the Wren House is the location to Snow Summit. You can't beat it!
It served our needs, but we were a party of eight, which might have been a little too many since the sleeper couch was uncomfortable and the dining room table only had four chairs.
It's a very sweet house that could use a little more detailing when cleaned, for example, the baseboards. The oven doesn't work properly. It delayed our meal. Nice refrigerator.
The decor is darling, and the beds and bathrooms were clean. I would consider renting this place again. Charming home.Response from Big Bear Cool Cabins - 04/14/2012

I have rented a few vacation places in the past, and this is a very nice place. So close to everything. Reasonably priced if you are going to share some memories between 2 families, which it can easily accommodate. Clean (although baseboards could use a dusting), and wonderfully decorated. The foosball table is an added plus that my kids liked. The back yard is large and great for younger kids to play in.

We had a great time, and overall the Wren House our needs well. It was clean and family friendly. Our only complaints - the queen size bed was uncomfortable and the king size bed had queen bedding on it. A great house for kids though! The fenced yard was wonderful and the kids had a great time sleeping together in the bunk bed room.

we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Wren House and would book it in the future. Awwesome deck and BBQ, extremely large and comfortable beds, and the perfect location for a family with children, even 2 families could make it work. We definately would rent this cabin again!!!

first of all the place was duty. on Saturday night we had packed everything for Barbecue and there was not Propane. it mess up my dinner and the food that we had prepared. i did tnot where to get propane.

We had an awesome time. The kids played in the fenced backyard which was spacious enough for everyone to hang out in. Everything was nice and clean with one exception, the oven didn't work properly and that was a problem. We went over Thanksgiving holiday and that delayed our dinner by a couple of hours, but aside from that everything was great! Thank you for helping build memories.
