Was very comfortable and clean except the kitchen. People prior did not clean the dishes, stove or toaster oven. But overall very good experience!

Great location and a nice place to stay. Little things would have made the stay nicer. Newer sheets and better stocking of items like shampoo, soap, & conditioner (and better quality toilet paper) would have been appreciated.

The house was nice, large enough for 2 families.
The rooms were ok, whould have been nice for the 3rd bedroom to have full beds instead of twins.

The rental office was easy to find and very friendly. They do get busy around check-in and check-out time so be patient or go early!
The home was as pictured online...this was our first cabin rental so we were a little hesitant. The decor was a little dated but cozy. All the amenities were up to date - like the microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher (did not clean very well so we washed the dishes by hand), bathrooms (very clean and everyone got hot showers!), flat screen tvs with DVD players (in family room and 2 of the 3 bedrooms), and refrigerator. The heater worked great!
Our kids loved the size of the home - they got to play in the private courtyard in the back (safe) that had snow piled up so they could "sled" down. (our kids were ages 2-5) They ran around the place and played hide and seek.
The location was the best - just around the corner to Snow Summit! We had great chinese food at Madarin Garden (by the airport). We did not give it five stars because of the dishwasher and because there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels(no one said to bring your own paper goods).
We would actually give the rental 4 1/2 stars and definitely go with Big Bear Vacations again!

everything was great starting from checking in. staff were friendly and really efficient! we had a real good time @ summit rose. we had 7 people in the house, two things that we didn't like was the hot water and the parking... the first 4 had hot water in the shower, but when it came to the 5th.. the water wasn't that hot anymore.. as for parking, it said to be able to fit 6 cars.. but there are only barely enough space to fit 2 cars.. but everything else was great! will definitely come back next year!

The service I received by Big Bear Vacations was superb - even though our stay spanned the holidays. The home was very comfortable with tremendous access to Snow Summit (within walking distance). This, and the warm atmosphere of the home were what I liked best. The experience could have been made better if the residence had a hot tub (jacuzzi). Overall, a great experience.
Dirty, slippery, short and expensive

We took the home for NY Eve and first spent 1 hour
to clean the floor and grill grid while 4 pm check-
in and 10 am check-out gave us only 18 hours of
stay - 3/4 of the day only.
The space near BBQ was very slippery due to the ice
melted from the snow close to the home walls.
Someone has to scrub it guys unless you want your
guests to get injury.
The rest was not too bad but it seemed nobody
visited this home at least a year.
In two words - not the value for over 700 dollars a
day. Read more
Due to high use during the holidays Big Bear Vacations check in time and check out times are reduced to allow proper cleaning and care of each the properties. Check in and check out times can be found on our website or by calling a guest representative. Big Bear Vacations has taken action to remove the ice from the BBQ area. In the winter time, ice is prevelant in many locations and there is little to do to prevent the formation of ice patches. Guests may contact our office for assistance with gravel however they must also take care during icy conditions.

We had a wonderful time in this very spacious house. The best part was the proximity to the lifts as you could simply walk to the base of Summit. The house was well furnished with formal living room and dining room, which we did not use. The bedrooms were very clean, had TVs and had new sheets and blankets so my wife was delighted. I would have given the experience five stars if it weren’t for the dishwasher not working and the coffee maker having coffee seeds in it! The management company sent the repair team to check out the dishwasher but they had to call a specialist who wasn’t available for most of our stay. I know problems do happen but we did file a complaint and have not heard back so far (three weeks after our stay).
