I rented this cabin for my birthday this year. The cabin itself is amazing!!! The cabin was clean and spacious, however none of my guests were able to take showers because the water would not get warm. It was embarrassing. I actually had to take a freezing cold shower on my birthday which was very disappointing. The fact that I paid nearly $600 for one night was already a stretch for me, but to show up to a cabin with no hot water was an outrage.

We stayed at Cedar Chest over the Memorial Day weekend and when we arrived the TV was on and the Jacuzzi (really clean)was ready to go. The cabin was very nicely appointed, bathrooms immaculate (love the master shower - great!), kitchen incredibly well stocked. No gas bbq like in the picture but we picked up charcoal and were fine. It was a bit smokey in the fireplace but the chimney might need a spring cleaning. The owners had really done it right with this cabin. Also a short walk away is a lovely path to the local woods. Beds were good too (my biggest concern as we were there for work). Hope to stay at Cedar Chest again - really comfy!

The place was OK. The homeowners have the central heat programmed so that you only a certain amount heat at certain times of the day. For instance, it was programmed to a maximum of 60 degrees at night and was in the high 60's during the day. There was a note taped to the thermostat telling us not to mess with it.There is a wall heater there also but another note telling us not to touch it. Definitely needed tons of firewood to stay warm. Nighttime was the biggest problem. Also, the bed linens were dirty. Thankfully we brought our own because the last time we booked with cool cabins the sheets were dirty at that cabin too. Bring your own towels too because the ones provided were thin and rough. Everything else was fine.

Stayed here for a week in December; The cabin is awesome, plenty of room, great hot-tub, seating everywhere, nice TV, in the middle of both resorts, close drive to the village. The master suite is huge, and the foosball table is perfect! I will definately stay again.

I rented this cabin with a few friends shortly after the New Year and we were overall extremely pleased with it. It was very clean and comfortably slept all of us. Also, it was about a half mile walk to the free shuttle for Summit and Bear Mountain. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because we had some trouble with the heater. Other than that it was a perfect cabin for a family trip or a trip with friends!
Our stay was very peaceful and we enjoyed the beauty of the neig

The service was without incident as we were waited on promptly and directions to the cabin were easy to follow. The home was very comfortable and roomy with everything we needed and located close to shopping and the wilderness was literally across the street which is what we liked the best.

The cabin was clean upon arrival however we did have to battle ants that got into our food that we placed on the counter top,(solved problem by keeping food in the refrigerator). We totally enjoyed relaxing in the spa. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Good location. I would stay here again.
Thank you for the great review! We wanted to let you know we have sent maintenance to the property to put some ant bait in the home.

Our family stayed here for a few days in September. The house was great. We especially enjoyed the beautiful dining table and the great patio furniture. The house had every thing that we needed. I particularly enjoyed the hiking trails located across the street. The only thing that surprised me that wasn't clear in the description before we rented the house was that one of the bedrooms is located on the second floor by a steep staircase that would not be safe for children or the elderly.

I so badly want to be lengthy but I will be brief with my detail oriented ways. It was very nicely decorated, modern and has a very cool shower in master...Roomy, but my only real complaint and we all agreed that went is that it didn't feel freshened or dusted well, a bit dirty when it didn't need to be ..it needed to be clean like we were told it would be.I was clear about bugs and I sprayed. Any outdoor areas were filthy but clean would have been used. We washed the spa area but you know what Cool Cabins compensated without argument, they owned it. Thank you Kelly and staff :)
