Log style cabn with two bedrooms, one bath, wood burning fireplace, cable TVs, DVD players, and full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.
Bedroom one has a queen bed and cable TV.
Bedroom two has a queen bed, bunk bed (two twins), cable TV and DVD player.
Living room has a sofa sleeper.
Close to the lake, slopes, and the Village. Maximum occupancy 6. Parking for 2 vehicles.

This cabin was clean, cozy and very charming. Great location!! This cabin is close to the bottom of Moonridge, which is nice when there is snow...all though the driveway to get up to the house is steep...which means if there is snow you would need chains. It doesn't look it from the picture but there is a hill that leads up to the cabin. There is a wide spacious area for your vehicles. The house is decorated super cute...there are pictures from big bear all around from the house from various times long ago. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Patio was spacious and had a nice bbq with table and chairs where you can look out over bear mountain ski slopes...super nice. Wish they had a hot tub! Living space was a nice size. Dining table had plenty of room for entertaining...plus bar area. Bedrooms were nice size...beds were ok...not super comfortable but better than some others we've stayed at. Bathroom is small but very cute. Cons: No where to put skis, no washer/dryer and no hot tub. Other than those three things I would defiantly stay there again.

The cabin is cozy; the kitchen is well-equipped and the rest of the house is great - Tv's in the bedrooms; big fireplace, etc. However, the kitchen is in need of repair; e.g., rust under the sink. And, you can feel the springs in the bed in the 2nd bedroom (one with the bunk beds). The bed in the Master Bedroom was ok; but does sag towards the middle. We had an issue with the toilet and the heating when we first arrived, but Cool Cabins sent someone both times within 1/2 hour and fixed the problems. Great service! We had a great stay otherwise.

This was our first time in the snow as a family and it couldn't have been a nicer experience! The location of this cabin ts ideal in relation to the ski areas and other amenities, and the neighborhood is very nice.. The cabin itself has a nice front/back yard that our kids could play it. The interior of the cabin is well-maintained and very clean. The backyard patio has an excellent view of the ski slopes on bear mountain. The cabin is ideal for a snow getaway for a small family/group. Loved it!

This was our first time renting a cabin in Big Bear. What a great experience! Easy check-in and check-out. The cabin location was perfect. The cabin was very comfortable and roomy. Of course we loved the deck and view. The kitchen had just about everything that we needed. The pans could be replaced. We had a few run-ins with spiders (but it is the mountains). Loved the decor. The bath towels were alittle on the small side and rough. Overall we would stay here again.

We enjoyed several days in this nice cabin, with a great deck and beautiful view. It has a slightly steep driveway, but there is enough flat area for easy entry and for turning the car around. It was sunny summer weather, so
we appreciated that a patio table and umbrella were provided
to use on the deck. All the appliances, tv, etc worked well. Bring your own hair dryer, as that was not provided.
We understand Cool Cabin's housekeeping uses all flat sheets
on the beds, but the lower sheet was not big enough to tuck
in around the mattress...you must use bigger bottom sheets!

My family and I were so impressed with the spaciousness and amenities of this cabin. The kids had enough space to roam around and the kitchen was outfitted just like home. The deck was superb with a gorgeous view. Clean and spacious. The only drawback was having only the one bathroom...but you can't have everything.The tub was a nice feature though, especially if you have kids. We'd definitely return.

It was exactly what we were looking for. It looks like a cabin on the inside as it looks on the out. very comfortable. great view of the woods. It was kept clean. Perfect for a first time cabin stay. I would not mind at all staying here with my family again. Kids loved it.

As usual, we had a great visit at Moonridge Cabin with a View. Of all the cabins we have stayed in, this one is by far the best for us. So is Bbcc! Tried other services for cabins with undesirable results. That is why an "Excellent" rating. It is simple and comfortable. The view of the slopes is lovely both summer & winter. We love the decor which is simple. No real problems other than only one washcloth for 3 people for 5 days. But we managed. Also could use more bath soap(s), etc. Didn't want to bother Bbcc. No wine glasses or corkscrew so bring your own. Great fireplace. Bbq worked well but needs a utility lighter to light. No matches in the cabin so bring your own fire source for fireplace/BBQ. Neighbors are nice . . . and quiet. The place could have used a good dusting and wiping down of the furniture before we arrived. Ran out of dish soap last day. There were no extra trash bags for the kitchen. No telephone in cabin so bring cell phone. Cell signal was good. Still could have better, brighter lighting all around (bedrooms, living room, dining room). Unknown if ceiling fan works. Could not turn it on. Cord too short to reach. Could not find a switch. Kitchen/dining room floors could use a good washing. Throw rugs could use a washing. There were ants on the deck table but Raid (under kitchen sink) worked well. Either Bbcc or owners should advise prospective guests about certain things that don't/won't work via more notes around the cabin. It would also be helpful if emergency phone numbers were posted on the frig and inside front door such as Sheriff, Fire (non-emergency), hospital and other medical care facilities. Maybe Bbcc could provide guests a list of these (and other)emergency numbers upon check-in. 911 should be used for real emergencies. Bring some flashlights / camp lights for emergencies. Other than these minor problems, this is our favorite place to stay and we will return as long as the cabin is available through Bbcc.

Had a great time at Moonridge Cabin with a View. We arrived and could check in right away which was nice. It was to far from town but far enough away so it really felt like the mountains. The nice thing was on the way up it looked like rain and when we woke up the next morning, everything had been dusted with snow. It was beautiful, which added to a very nice weekend. The only complaint was that the cabin was pretty dusty when we arrived and the kitchen floor was dirty. Other than that we had a great time.

This has been the third time we have use cool cabins and this cabin has been the best so far... everything in this cabin was in good condition. The view is breath taking and close to everything... Loved it!!! (was hoping for a hot tub but was very satisfied with the view)

This cabin is nicely situated close to Bear Mountain/and all local attractions, we had to dig out the walkway and front porch of 3' of snow just to open the front door! Originally thought it should have been done already but in retrospect it kind of added to the experience and was fine...Very cozy and the central heater works great as it was super cold the first day there.

Very cute, spacious, and clean cabin tucked in the mountains with the most beautiful back porch view of bear mountain! Everything was even better than expected! And it stayed nice and warm with the heater and fireplace available for use! I will definitely be looking to rent at this cabin again in the future.

The stay was great. The cabin was very cozy and felt like home. Everything was clean. However, the only thing that would probably keep me from coming back or recommending this cabin again is the next door neighbors. Very nosy, the whole group felt like we were being watched, and turns out we were. Other than that the place is amazing.

I have already sent in my opinion as to what improvements the owners should make. Very minor in nature. Otherwise, all was just perfect. We hope to return to Moonridge Cabin With a View in the near future. We had a wonderful time and the cabin was just perfect for us. Thank you Big Bear Cool Cabins and property owners. The view was terrific. Beds very comfortable. Fireplace worked great. Neighbors quiet. Close to everything. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed coming to the cabin, it was very quiet. Although we came with our own supplies, all was available in the cabin if we needed it. The cabin was very clean and made for a nice place to come to at the end of a busy day hiking. Thanks for sharing the cabin. Cool Cabins made our experience very easy and convenient.
