      This house needs some attention

Left on 03/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013

The location is great and the view is even better but this house needs some serious attention. Furniture is very old, to the point were we couldn't use a few chairs around the dinning table because the legs were coming off. Kitchen cabinet doors were severely damaged and wouldn't open or close properly, some drawers even had broken doors just hanging to one side. Master bedroom door doesn't stay closed. The kitchen was the dirties part of the house. The utensils were absolutely disgusting and the drawers they were kept in were worse. We found food crumbs in a few drawers and were disgusted. Pots and pans needed to be washed twice before we dared to use them. The lack of trash cans and trash bags was unacceptable. The trash can in the kitchen is meant to be used in a small office, not in a kitchen that's used to prepare food for 10+ people. Without a addiquit trash can in the entire house we spent half our time taking out trash bags.

Game Room: We were excited to have a game room, except we couldn't find it. We than realized you need to go down to the garage, which has a opening in the corner that leads to a unfinished hallway, which leads to a bathroom, which leads to a game room. Yes, you need to go through a bathroom to get to the game room. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me and all my guests. The description to this room should read "Inconveniently located Game Room". We didn't spend a minute in there because its so far from the rest of the house, and you definitely cant leave young kids in there to play without an adult because you cant hear or see them. Plus there is a door that leads out to the driveway.

Overall, we had a good time and made the best of it. Ive been renting from BBV for over 8 years and this was the worst house ive stayed in. Hopefully next time it will be better.

      Peace on Earth!

Left on 10/17/2012 for a stay in September 2012

To me there is nothing better than a great night sleep in a comfy bed! Oh wait, yes there is... waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee and enjoying it outside on the deck surrounded by wilderness and breathtaking views!
Now let's talk food and shopping... I really liked that the cabin was within walking distance of downtown Big Bear.
After a day of doing what we do best... eating, drinking and spending money, the women got cozy on the couch and watched a movie on one of many flat screens, and the men played pool and darts down in the Man-Cave!
Once it got dark, the perfect ending to a perfect day was sitting in the jacuzzi under a blanket of stars.
If only we had one more day...

We went up expecting to enjoy ourselves and not only did we, we stayed in an awesome Place. This is the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. The new hardwood floors and looked to be new appliances made it such a memorable trip that we are already booking another weekend in the near future. If you want to be swept away in Luxury book this Home as your next vacation getaway and you will be blown away!!!

      Pleasant Family Vacation

Left on 01/06/2012 for a stay in December 2011

All is good except a steep driveway to parking garage whereby it's hard to go up and park the car into the garage especially in icy snowy condition. One of our car got stucked on the driveway and need to call tow service.

As with any other review the beds are way too soft. The hot water when all shower is in use may ran out and some of us had to shower in icy cold water.

Thank you so much for your feedback on Four Seasons Estate. Unfortunately, it is common during the winter here in the San Bernardino National Forest to experience difficulties with ice and snow since many snow storms can be continual and require continual shoveling to keep drive ways and patios clear. Additionally, if driveways are icy guests might need to have chains equipped on the drive wheels of their vehicles. When it is winter time and temperatures are lower, this can make the use of multiple showers at one time deplete hot water much faster than some of our guests might be accustomed to.

We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties you had during your stay and hope to have the opportunity to help you plan a future vacation in Big Bear.

      A mess of a house...

Left on 01/06/2012 for a stay in December 2011

We stayed for new year's in this cabin, we saw the pics on the internet and we loved it, the house it's ok, the appliances are really old (the microwave heated w/ hot air!!!) and the washing Machine did not work, it filled w/water and that's it, did nothing, we called the office and said they would send someone to fix it, no one came; the day we got there we saw dirty towels on the floor outside by the jacuzzy, and bottle caps and papers, they did not clean after the last guest, again, called the office and they send someone, the next afternoon!!! Inside was dirty as well, coffee machine had mold!!! And still coffee, inside the cabinets one of the cups had coffee in it!!! And the dishwasher was full of dishes, we had to move a couple of things around (couch and twin bed) and there was food under them, so the cleaning is bad, I had to work harder than at home. Besides the bad cleaning and old appliances, the house was ok, it was big, kids had a lot of space to play around. Location was good also, had the village really close by.

Great location and the home had everything we expected and more!

Left on 12/09/2011 for a stay in November 2011

The check in and out was extremely easy and smooth. The home was so spacious and comfortable for all of us! The jacuzzi and game room was a great hit with the younger adults and the living room with the fireplace was a cozy hangout after a long day of skiing. The location was the best, short drive to ski resort. Restaurants and shopping were walking distance but we always cooked since we had all the amenities you could wish for. The view of the lake was so relaxing when sitting from the living room or balconies. Only disappointment is carpet is a bit dated and stains were too obvious. Overall I would still stay at the Four Seasons anytime and look forward to spending another great Thanksgiving with family.

I loved this home. It was nice and big for my me and my family. It provided very much for our stay. The rooms were nice size. The beds were all comfortable except for one of the beds. There were plenty of things for the kids to do while we stayed there.
