We had the cabin from March 23 - 26. Our experience was top notch. Everyone I dealt with from Cool Cabins was polite, caring, and efficient. They even said that if I emailed them a pic of my credit card and id, I could go straight to the home.
I would like to touch on some of the negatives from other reviewers:
-There are actually plenty of towels for both showering and Jacuzzi. The bedroom downstairs has a large chest of drawers that is chock full of them...huge to small.
-Yes, it is only a bumper pool table. This is blatantly noted in the description. We got directions for play ... online.
-The cabin has central heat and air. Besides the fact that every closet had portable fans.
-The canoe and kayak are made available...as well as a pontoon boat! Spring and Summer only.
-I actually did not see an iron or board either. But was prepared.
Now, to mention a few extras that I found:
-Not only is the home pet friendly...there is also a giant dog bed and a jumbo crate for use.
-There is a baby crib in the home.
-There is a coffee maker that also grinds the beans.
-There was plenty of chopped wood for the fireplaces.
-There were even fishing poles...although my hubby brought is own equipment.
This home truly has it all. Nothing negative was noted by me, my husband, or our 2 kids. We actually added another night; while we were there. Even our pup had a fabulous time! The kitchen is fully stocked. You could cook just about anything in there. The views are remarkable. We spent hours upon hours just chilling on the dock and decks and in the Jacuzzi watching time go by. If you are debating it...just book it!!!

The service was excellent...we enjoyed the home and everything that came with it. The location was perfect. The only thing negative was the towels ,ect. were old and small...in the bathrooms and felt crusty. Other than that we enjoyed it very much.

This cabin was beautiful! So much more than I anticipated. To begin, the location was perfect. The cabin is located on the southside of Big Bear Lake near the western entrance into town. Just far enough from town but close enough if you need to venture in for necessities. The view of Boulder Bay and the rest of the lake, town, and mountains is gorgeous. The type of view that you could just stand up with a cup of coffee and take in for 30-45 minutes.
The cabin itself was wonderful. We could tell it was completely upgraded with new granite tops in the kitchen. It had two big, flat screen TVs, the hear worked great, the hot water stayed hot, firm water pressure, and no problems with the plumbing. The kitchen came fully stocked and furnished. There was even pancake batter in the pantry for the double-sided waffle maker! Both livings were a great size with comfortable couches. As were the rooms with comfortable beds. There was no problem sleeping 7 in this place. Driveway was easily big enough for three vehicles which include two big Suvs and a mid-size pick up truck.
Cannot say enough about the location and views. Both of which made grilling and hot tubbing a blast! There were two propane grills (one upstairs and one downstairs). Propane tank was full and grilling was a cinch. The hot tub on the front deck was amazing. It had a spectacular view of the bay. Also had an awesome massage setting.
Overall I could not have asked for a better spot. I will definitely be back to stay at this place many times!

This cabin was an excellent holiday home situated as close as you could get to Big Bear Lake, which looked beautiful at Christmas! The cabin was clean and tidy and has two living areas so the kids could watch TV in one room while the adults watched TV in the other room. The 3 bedrooms were a good size, with double beds in each and an en suite bathroom in the downstairs bedroom. We had a great time and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family.

Amazing view, all the supplies you need for the kitchen are supplied. Wish they made the boat and kayak available for use. Only real down fall was there was a very strong odor possibly coming from some cleaner on the carpets, seems like they were trying to mask another smell. Had to open all the windows to try and ease up the odor. Cool cabins was very accommodating in letting us check out another location, in the end we stayed at same one but owner should think about remedying that problem and then it would be perfect. Loved our stay in Boulder Cottage Lakefront. The owner is really nice and helpful. The place was clean. Tbe beds were comfy and the tv worked. Only issue (my wife's issue) was no ironing board and iron. Loved the dock and the available boat for rental. We can't wait to come back and stay again.

Love the view from the balcony---right across the street from Boulder Bay. Cabin had all the conveniences of home. Great fireplaces, mountain decor, and flat screen TV. Nice little fenced-in yard for a small dog. But, I wish the various people before us would have cleaned-up after their dogs. I had to shovel a bucket-full of frozen dogs piles the first morning. (We are instructed to take out all of our trash when leaving, which obviously should include what your doggie leaves behind as well.)

Our experience during our stay was outstanding, we had a wonderful time, our cabin felt like it was our second home for our 5 day stay. The entire family was surprised how well prepared everything was and how everything was at our fingertips for our enjoyment, we want to commend the owner of the cabin and let him/her know what a beautiful home they have. We look forward to staying with you again and again. Thank You for providing us with a much needed Family atmosphere.

House was great. One issue was the jacuzzi was not clean and the house does not have air conditioning and it was just so hot in the rooms. Also we brought our dogs and the fenced in backyard is on such an incline the dogs were having real trouble using. Also I tried to clean up and fell. The add is a bit deceiving as the pool table is really a poker table that can be changed to be small table not standard table by any means Overall I would stay again as the view and use of the canoe etc was great for our kids!!!
