Very nice home, enjoyed the hot tub and game room although a small room heater in the game room would be nice. Kitchen had all the necessary items although the frying pans could be updated and I had to prewash all dishes because they did not look clean at all. Overall our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, very lovely home.

We have been renting cabins at Big Bear for over 14 years over the holidays and this cabin was one of the best we have ever stayed in. It was just right for us!!
The main drawback was that it was a little further out to the slopes and village than previous cabins we have rented. Also, there is not a stoplight to get on to the main road and can be difficult at times. However, since this year we spent a lot of time in the cabin, this one was perfect for us and very comfortable. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has lots of charm. It also has beautiful views of the lake! There was one other thing that did bother us though, and that being that the sun blasted through the window in the eating area, and there were no window coverings, making it difficult to have family meals until after the sun went down. This can easily be fixed with some window treatments. Overall, I would recommend this cabin!!Response from Big Bear Vacations - 04/17/2012

Clean, spacious, great neighbors! Worth the money. The only problems I had was 1) advertised wifi and there was none, which was one of my stay requests. 2) ordered the breakfast package, it was on my rental agreement and they forgot. It was supposed to be in the cabin at check in, I waited till the evening to call and check status and was told it was "overlooked but let's just not deliver it and we won't charge you." It's not that big of a deal its just that I ordered it so I wouldn't have to go grocery shopping after a long drive to get to the mountain and spending the day at the lake. They just didn't even try to fix thier mistake and it was easier for them to tell me that they just won't deliver it and not charge me instead of trying to fix thier oversight because it would have inconvienced them. just small problems, but thier handlng of it is the problem. Great cabin, clean, the neighbors were great, great value.Would stay again, just double check all what you requested in reservations at check in.

This was our first family vacation that included my parents and 3 nephews in the same house for several days : /. We thought keeping everyone happy was going to be a challenge but we found the house to be the right size. The game room was great... as it kept the kids entertained and happy. My sisters and I are thinking about returning in august however this time without the parents.Thank you. also, liked all the kid games. : D. Tv in the game room not working would have been fun to have it all running. Thanks!!

Rented ths cabin for my father and my husband for Father's Day. It was the most relaxing time for both if them. As soon as we walked in we felt right at home the place is so homey the decorations are so fun and beautiful. The walk to Lake was not far at all the kids had so much fun fishing. Will definately try to rent this house again worth every dollar spent.
