Butte Retreat is a special house featuring well appointed leather furniture with Pergo flooring and T & G. Listen to the stereo while enjoying a flickering fire in the river rock, wood burning fireplace. This pristine home has both a family room with a game table and a den for extra privacy. A 3 bedroom and 2.5 baths home that sleeps 8 with 1 king bed and 2 twin bunk beds. Need more beds pull out 1 of the 2 queen sofa sleepers. Enjoy creative cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. Walk onto the decks for a getaway in the pines.

We had a great time ! It is perfect for two families, three restrooms , great space área for kitchen and living Room. The Only thing to make it perfect to our opinion it is to convert in a formal room with a Queen bed one of the sofás of the rooms.

The accommodations were spacious and clean. It was lovely. Sleeping space surpassed our expectations. Our experience began with having difficulty obtaining keys to enter, which involved driving out of our way at night time in unfamiliar territory to look for them. The telephone representative, who knew what time I was expected to arrive neglected to mention I'd have to retrieve the keys from a different location than they are kept during daytime hours. Finding anything in that area was challenging, actually. A kitchen drawer was broken. We located hammer and nails to repair it and were later disappointed when we were hit with a fee for the garbage. We didn't have clear instructions regarding where to put the garbage. We collected it throughout the house, put it in a bag and left the bag on the outside deck, thinking that would be a good place for it. Someone else thought otherwise. When we left, we had to figure out where to put the key. Again, a bit of an issue, as it involved driving to a different location (not the same as the night time place). There wasn't enough toilet paper. We didn't expect to shop for that item. Customer service would be my complaint. I didn't think that renting a house would require better customer service, but that's my take away.

I never thought this day would come. I actually printed and sent a 2 page complaint letter after our stay, and I received no answer back. When I contacted the reservation office, they rudly told me to send the letter again and that they never received it. It was certified mail and I addressed it (forgot the person's name at the time)
Anyway it was my surprise to my family for New Years Eve. I booked the Butte Retreat, which looked amazing in the photos of course. Upon our arrival which was way past the required check in time, we discovered that the place had not even been cleaned yet. After calling the office, they sent the cleaning crew over and we had to wait in the car for almost an hour. Needless to say after they left, there were dirty towels left in the bathrooms, bloody sheets in the bathroom. (thankfully we brought our own) Major dust under the beds. I mean the cleaning crew did what they could in no time, which was unacceptable and very embarrassing for me and my out of town guests. Again I was so frustrated that I wrote a complaint letter which no one answered me back with, and as a matter of fact I am going to go to Yelp and write a nice complaint there.
We just wanted to get on with our New Years celebrations that is why I did not make a huge deal during the stay. As is, we were late getting in by few hours and kids were tired wanted to sleep etc etc. I had so many photos after our stay, and I sent it with my letter. It has been so long that i have no clue where I have put them.
