      Bad Experience with angels Camp

Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in December 2013

Well lets put it like this, we never made it up to the cabin. My family and I got to Big Bear about mid-day and traffic was bumper to bumper but we still made into the town of Big Bear in time to make to the office to get the keys and directions how to get to the cabin. We started on our way and no told us about the location of the cabin and how dangerous it was when the road is icy and at a bad incline. so My family and I were lucky that a family friend were in town and we stayed with them for the night. I was not going top put my family in danger by trying to get there the next day. I have a truck and I still couldnt get up the hill. I took the keys back and ask do I get some kind of refund since we couldnt get to the cabin and the lady said no. This is very bad business and would not recommend angels Camp or the company that rent them to any of my friends. Ever!!. I will be talking with the BBB about this matter. Over $900.00 lost.

      Village Reservation Service

      Manager

      Dear Bad Experience,
Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to write a review for our business. Our mission is to provide the best customer service and ensure the satisfaction of each of our guests. We apologize that you and your family were unable to make it to the property. Our roads can be a little difficult to drive on, especially during our winter months. Our policy is if a guest is unsatisfied with their cabin, to relocate them to a different one with similar criteria. However, if this was during the holidays, we are unable to offer this option. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and would love to make this right. We do have other properties, many of them easily accessible, even in our winter months. Thank you again for your feedback and hope that we see you again!

      Sincerely,
      The Village Reservations Team

      ski fun with friends

Left on 05/30/2012 for a stay in December 2011

This was a very nice well kept home. kitchen had just about everything. they could have provided more than one skillet for cooking but they did have plenty pots to work with,so we made due. Plenty utinsiles were provided. bedrooms were roomy. The beds were worn out those could have been replaced. It slept five comfortably. Location was a little out of the way. nieghborhood was very nice so that made up for being a bit out there. I would difiniently stay here again with a group for a weekend of skiing.
