I rented this house over the Christmas holidays arriving early on Christmas Eve, 12:00, and altho not asked my name or which property I rented, was told I had to come back at 4:00 to check in, I couldn't drop my things off, they had 92 rentals and no way we could check in early. So I returned at 3:45 to find two other parties there, but the office closed at 3:00. We had to go to the alarm company to pick up the keys where we were charged a fee due to arriving after hours. We argued about the charge and altho it was billed, it was removed.
Arriving at the house, the first pass we missed it due to being somewhat dark. Had we been an hour later it would have been really difficult to find the house at all...some lights might have helped. Outside lights are outside, located on back side of the guest house by the parking.
Walking inside, I thought my dog had used the carpet, but it was just a very filthy carpet. There were no instructions for the use of things so luckily out of the three of us, someone was familiar with the thermostat as I couldn't turn the heat on, same problem in the guest house.
The house itself is quite lovely and the guest house is a major plus, a room with a bed, bath and small kitchen area which opens onto the spa. In the main house the second guestroom opens to the spa. The spa service came on Christmas day to clean it, told us it needed to be running 10 minutes before using.
There are tons of dishes, silverware, pots and pans but other than that the house is definitely not stocked so be sure to bring napkins, dishwasher and clothes detergent, candles, light bulbs and trash bags.
I used the downstairs bedroom which has one lamp by bed with burned out bulb so I switched the light bulb from the washer/dryer until I could buy one. Upstairs bedroom is really a loft so for a romantic weekend make sure no one is in the house with you.
Bathrooms were spotless.

It was one of the best places we ever been to .. Very private the house was beautifull and also with guest house.. Hopefully they ll add Internet and ect.. But I would recommend to anyone

This property was really fun, clean, convenient and comfortable. However, we were disappointed with the rental agency. Of course the property should be left clean, but I think it's perfectly reasonable to leave clean dishes in the dishwasher, rather than insisting they are all dried and put away. Also, the instructions & options for where to leave the key when we left were limited. The only let down of this experience was the lack of flexibility and unfriendliness from Village Rentals...

I have rented this unit for a 5-week stay for four years and it is always complete and comfortable. Detached guest house is a plus. Rental service is consistently good and responsive to any needs. Location is within walking distance of Pleasure Point Marina and is situated in a quiet neighborhood with easy walking and friendly neighbors. Kitchen suitable for entertaining and a new natural gas grill for outdoor cooking. Dramatic master bedroom for the lucky couple.
