I was not expecting much from the Blue Jay Chalet when I arrived to Big Bear. The complex in which the condo is located seems to be outdated.
To my surprise, in the inside the Blue Jay Chalet was excellent. Newly renovated with good quality furniture and appliances, and very clean - take my word, I am very picky on this.
Looks like a designer was in charge of the decoration, as all elements in the chalet where well combined and though. Nice entertainment system with Blue-Ray and 5.1 system (appropriately installed).
Some areas for improvement - The mattress in the master bed seems old and not very comfortable; drawers in master bed need to be further cleaned; shower tubs in both bathrooms are dated.
Overall, I felt very comfortable at the Blue Jay Chalet. I hope it stays in same or better condition, as definitively would go back there.
