Our family of 8 had a great time in this very nicly decorated cabin. Kids enjoyed the loft area with pool table and game table. Master bedroom was very comfortable. Clothing that was not hangable had to be kept on closet floor in the other 2 bdrs. Suggest shelves or dresser. Kitchen was very small and missing can opener and sharp knife of any sort. Suggest a more reasonable supply of paper products be available and no dishwasher tablets were provided. These were minor inconvienances but so to remedy. All and all the cabin was nice and truly in easy walking distance to lifts. Staff at cool cabins friendly and available.
Very nice stay

Shower is terrible

Maybe my expectation on this cabin is too high, because I have had other generally positive experience in Yellowstone National Park and yosemite national park.
Several issues with this unit.
1. Shower on both the first floor and second floor are both "terrible", making annoying noises and very very weak water pressure.
2. Dark green carpet throughout, giving an un-clean feeling
Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We apologize for the issues you had while staying with us. We will have maintenance go out and take a look at the showers and make sure they operating properly. The living room and kitchen are as advertised. As far as the occupancy limit, it is set by the city and is based off the number of people that the unit can sleep. Once again we apologize if you found the cabin unsatisfactory. Please give us a call in the future where one of our friendly, professionally trained staff members can assist you in finding exactly what you're looking for.

To sum it all up, overall had a great time. Cabin was awesome, snow was great and had no complaints during my entire stay. Unfortunatley 4 days after checking out i received a call over some damages that were claiming to be made during our stay which was a surprise to me as we spent the whole last day cleaning the cabin and even paid extra for late check out so that we could leave the cabin in the same condition as when we arrived. Aftet contacting Big Bear Cool Cabins i was informed that the front door had ben kicked in as well as the bathroom door frame was cracked. Didnt make sense to me as we had a key so there was no reason to kick it in and my father mentioned he noticed the bathroom door frame being cracked but didnt think nothing of it. After informing Bbcc i was not responsible for the damages and was not going to pay i havent heard anything back. I assume that they either believed me or figured out who did it. Not sure though. Some sort of notification either way would have been nice. So other than this issue cabin/trip was great but i would probably be hesitant to book a cabin here again.

This cabin was exactly as advertised. Cool Cabins service was quick and easy. No problems.
The cabin was perfect for our needs and was an easy walk to the lifts.
Three small complaints:
1.There should be more utensils in the kitchen. We had to go next door to borrow a can opener.
2.The wi-fi hookup was very sporadic.
3.The hot tub wasn't hot. Could never get it over 81 degrees and it was thus not usable. I would say that this is the one issue that raised the most complaints from my family.

We spent New Years in this comfortable cabin with our two kids and two dogs. It was so close to the ski slopes! We felt right at home and plan to return again.
