Cottage was perfect size for our small family and dog. However, it definitely needs some cleaning and new mattresses. Gold Rush rentals was great, however, the homeowners need to put more effort into making this place feel "cozy". Bathtub drain did not work so our kids were not able to take baths. Inside windows were absolutely filthy. Cobwebs on the ceiling, baseboard, and corners. Etc, etc...
Our dog gives it a "2" paws up with the fenced yard!!

Thank you for your time reviewing your stay at Christy's. Christy's has been a home that pleases most guests. We are sorry you were disappionted.
We have checked into the draining issue you have discribed and found it to be slower than expected yet not at all as severe as described here. In any case, it has been attended to and draining well at this time.
Although each home gets cleaned at the departure of every guest, at the end of winter, all homes get a thorough deep cleaning beginning in April. Cobwebs are a constant source of annoyance in the mountains.
As you know, we tell all our guests to give us a call if anything is a concern so that we can make your time more enjoyable. We truly mean what we say and would've gladly come out to the home to have attended to any of your concerns.
We are sorry we did not get the chance to attend to your concerns while you were staying.
We are glad your dog enjoyed the fenced yard. We hope you will return for a future stay and allow us to extend to you our appreciation
of giving us the opportunity to welcome you back.

We stayed for a weekend at Christy's Cottage. We have stayed at many locations at Big Bear and thought this was one of the better ones for the price. It is a good location, the home is nice, fairly clean, nice yard. We were fortunate enough to have it snow the second day and the driveway was cleared for us, which was nice. We would recommend it to a small family.

We had a great stay at Christy's cottage, clean, cute, and cheap. We will mostly likely stay here again. Gold Rush staff was super nice and easy to work with.
