Welcome to the Bear Meadow Condo, On Golden Pond!! This 1250 sq ft, two story rental is beautifully furnished and decorated for your vacation stay. The two bedrooms are on the 1st floor, the master bedroom with private full bath has a king size bed plus a TV/DVD. The 2nd master bedroom has a queen size bed with private bath has a TV/DVD and access to a laundry and one car garage. My family and I absolutely loved our stay in Big Bear! The cabin we stayed in was so much more beautiful than the pictures! We will definitely be coming back! The only thing I didn't like was that when I was checking in the person who was helping me get checked in stopped to help someone else and left me standing at the counter for a long time without being helped. He said he told someone else to come and finish checking me in but no one did. Other than that we had a great time. We also got a chance to take the kids to the zoo which was a lot of fun also.

I have booked cabin rentals before and the experiences have been atrocious. What I saw in the picture was not what I got. On Golden Pond...What a difference, the pictures fail to show the comfortable and familiar essence of the place. It was clean, cozy,and with a beautiful mountain decor with lots of style. The view is peaceful and amazing. My son loved going by the pond to see the ducks. We did not want to leave. The Service was wonderful, Houston took care of our reservations and has great knowledge of the properties and the area. The staff at check in was just as efficient and really nice. Absolutely no hassles.

What a lovely cabin. Very nicely furnished and decorated. The view of the golf course and pond is very nice as well. Very comfortably accommodated our party of 6.

This property was the best! It had everything we needed and more! It could compare to a stay at Santa Barbra or even a weekend get away at the Marriott! It had comfort as well as luxury, could not ask for more!

Everything was perfect except for the one thing, the beds
in the house are very uncomfortable. They sag very badly and I had back pains after. I woke up 7 or 8 times during the night because it was not comfortable. I would definately not stay in that particular house again because of the beds unless they were replaced. But I still enjoyed the scenary of the pond golf course and immaculate shape of the home.
Also when I arrived to the house, the water main was turned off. I called the main office and someone came within minutes, excellent service.

My boyfriend and I decided to come up to Big Bear for a change of scenery... when we arrived, we were very surprised of how lovely this unit was. We felt right at home, and we will definitely come back.

When you walk into the place you instantly feel like your at home. It gives you that warm and cozy feeling after a day of snowboarding and snowball fights.

On Golden Pond was spectacular. It is a beautiful condo, perfectly located at the base of Bear Mountain. We have stayed in other cabins in the past and this one was by far the best (a little pricier then we were used to, but worth the money). In the past, we have stayed in places that were old, dumpy and quite frankly, felt dirty. But On Golden Pond was beautifully furnished and well taken care of so it felt like we were staying at a nice resort. One thing that would have made it even better is use of the garage. The description online made it sound like it was available for use, but it was locked up with no instructions or indication that you could park in it. That did not impact our vacation at all, it is just a comment. Thank you to the owners for making the accommodations so nice. The service was excellent too. Very pleasant and easy check-in and out process. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation.

Pros: Condo was great! Very clean! Furniture has
been updated so better than the pictures. Close to
both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Best part
was the snowy area behind the condo. The kids
were able to sled right outside. Kitchen filled with
everything you could need. Beds were heavenly!
Comfy couch and recliners. Loved the extra
bathroom upstairs.
Cons: Parking is limited but that is how it is all
over.
Overall, we really enjoyed this place and definitely
plan to go back! -

There was only one heating system; therefore up was warm and down was cold....I believe the place was pleasant but after all the cost of rental, it certainly was over priced!

On golden pond was the perfect place for us!! It was s clean, cozy and
comfortable! We loved that you could park in the garage and walk directly in
to the house. You do not need to hike up a million steps to the front door!...
(There are stairs once you are in the house) Our whole family felt right at
home! The beds are comfortable... and we all enjoyed the wonderful fireplace.
The place had all the conveniences of home for us. We had NO clue just how
close it is located to Big Bear mountain.... You do not need to drive!... When
one of our kids got tired of snowboarding we just walked down the hill back
home.. that easy... The place is located in a c- d- s and it has trash bins out
side your front door! No need to drive and dump trash!... Need I say more!
We did not go in to the village but it is a very short drive from this location....
The heat was not turned on when we arrived so it was bit chilly in the house...
that was an easy fix. They have a towel service but we did not need to use it
for the short time we were there. We did use the washer/dryer once.
We will be planning a trip up soon! Hope we can book On golden pond!...
