Stayed in this vacation home for a week over the 4th of July holiday. Excellent accommodations with plenty of space for a family gathering. Contrary to previous guest review, we found the refrigerator and jacuzzi in working order. The media room, with double doors opening to the deck, was the focal point for our entire stay. The up-to-date electronics in the media room, wireless internet, and printer were appreciated and used! Conveniently located within minutes of the village; even walked to Pine Knot Marina for fireworks in only 30 minutes. Surrounding neighborhood was quiet and serene.

The cabin was very nice. Love the master bedroom and the huge master bath. Unfortunately the jacuzzi didn't work and the refrigerator was broken. Since we were there only for the weekend we didn't bother to call maintenance.

Thank you for responding to our survey. We have checked the refrigerator and it is working properly. Refrigerators that are filled with food (and previously empty) in the Big Bear altitude (7000 ft) take a longer time to cool down. Refrigerators in Big Bear will not cool down if turned on high--the motor will overheat and quit working until the motor has cooled off. We are sorry this caused you any inconvenience. The spa is working correctly. We are sorry this caused you an issue during your stay. We have an in house maintnence department that can rectify things that occur during your stay. This cabin is awesome! very spacious. This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this cabin since we enjoyed it so much last year we had to request it again this year.

Location was perfect! Close to lake and the Village. Home was comfortable with a wonderful master suite and plenty for the kids to do between entertainment center, pool table and darts. Great layout for 2 families.

I could have packed way less kitchen stuff, because they had everything I needed! The house is beautiful, clean and well kept. Loved the pool table (plenty of cue sticks available) and wood burning fireplace. The spa was great too (make sure to turn up the heat right away, it was set at 85). The house is close to Holloway's Marina. If I recall correctly, the pictures of the cabin showed a room with twin bunk beds and couch, but the 4th bedroom has a bunk bed with a full bed on the lower level, no couch. The place only allows 3 cars, which would be tandem parked. The place has a motorized retractable awning for the back patio which was a nice convenience. The back patio faced a grassy wooded area surrounded by maybe 6 or 7 other cabins...but we never saw/heard anyone from any of the other cabins. My only negatives, was that there was no soap dish in the master bathroom for the dual sinks, and the house "book" with instructions needs updated (the pictures and instructions for the TV and internet were outdated). Btw, the internet was super easy as it is a wireless connection. I loved how the house was decorated and the drink rail in the pool table room (nice touch!). Loved the place!! The whole process with renting the place through Big Bear Vacations was a breeze and the people I dealt with over the phone (many times-due to all my questions) and in person during check-in were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely rent through them again and would definitely rent this cabin again.

Everything from the check-in process to the check-out process went smoothly and quickly. The house was fantastic! It was incredibly clean and well supplied. Not only are there great things to do outdoors (which we took full advantage of), but the pool table and dart board helped add to the entertainment, too. We will absolutely rent this house again when we visit Big Bear in the future! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our whole Big Bear Vacation experience. Easy check in, no issues at all. Place was a delight as far as location and interior decor. Wish we had stayed a bit longer is our only regret. We did enjoy pretending the house next door was haunted, you will see if you go there! ha

Without going into too much detail the place was awesome. Great location, Ipod dock, slept 8 comfortably, pool table, master bedroom and bathroom were very nice .. Especially the bathroom. Overall you will not be disappointed with the cabin.

This cabin had everything my friends and I needed and a few thing we didn't. From dishes to WiFi and everything in between. We didn't really use the flat panel TV but the iPod dock on the stereo was used nonstop. We had no complaints at all. And the shower in the master bedroom was a vacation in its self. I highly recommend this cabin!

My business colleague and myself stayed at Birchwood Knoll #1119 for a week. The house was so comfortable.The master bathroom shower was amazing! Loved the hot tub. My only regret is that we didn't make the time to have a night of games playing foosball, darts and pool. Next time I will bring a group of friends to enjoy the home to the fullest.

We were pleasantly surprised with Birchwood Knoll. We searched literally hundreds of places and hoped that this one would be great, but since we booked online were still slightly anxious when we arrived. We were so pleased with the house. The location was excellent, the house set up perfect for our two families and the amenities within the house were beyond our expectation. We will definately book this house again in the future. Thank you for the attention to details in this house, we had a wonderful family vacation.

When we first arrived it seemed bigger than in the pics. There were 4 sets of
couples with kids and the place suited us great all weekend. We made use of
everything - the hot tub, the pool table, foosball (in the loft upstairs), fireplace
and even the area out back in the snow. I booked the place and the other
couples were very happily surprised.
