The cabin had a lot of good aspects, but there were a number of problems:
1 - the downstairs bed was broken
2 - there was animal fur literally all over the place, and
3 - there were missing sheets.

Went to Big Bear with friends over the weekend and got this cabin after learning it was reviewed as one of america's best vacation views. The location is excellent, only about 300 yards from the Bear Mountain slopes; we could have walked there. The cabin itself was nice and very comfortable. Our only gripes were a few lightbulbs being out in the kitch and some rust particles being jetted out from the spa tub. Otherwise, it was a fun weekend and would highly recommend it. The front desk service was also oustanding. The check in and check out process was faster than anything I had experienced before. Kudos!

This cabin was perfect for a snow trip with 7 young teenage boys. They loved the game room, the jacuzzi and sledding on the hill behind the cabin. I loved relaxing upstairs by the fireplace and watching movies. The kitchen supplies were good (i have to get one of those calphalon griddles!) Furnishings and decor are very nice too. Even though they wished for more snow, the boys want this to be their annual snow trip. Thank you!!

I describe our vacation as just so many options. we could go ut and do one of the many things we did (ziplining, jet skiing, parasailing, water slides.ect.) but feel just as comfortable staying at the cabin playing games, going in the jacuzzi, bbq, watching movies, just our kind of vacation. The house was awesome.

Big Bear Vacations was so great. Easy booking, easy check-in and check-out. The cabin was super clean, has all the amenities you could want! The game room was awesome and there was a nice spa (although it was a bit cozy...). The views from the decks were really nice and peaceful. It had just snowed so we went sledding right behind the home a couple times. It's a close drive to everything. Loved it!!!

Service was great as usual. House was wonderful and cozy. However, the Wifi was horrible and there was zero phone reception. And the hot water seemed to run out fast. Other than those issues it was perfect! The game room is a huge plus.

Our family of 6 stayed at Dawson's Peak #1071 Cabin in Big Bear Lake,Ca. We have so many wonderful memories at this luxurius cabin. Sherry was awesome to work with. The cabin has a state-of-the-art kitchen, outdoor hot tub on deck, gameroom with pool table, foosball, darts, and air hockey, and there are 4 bathrooms. It is in 7200' elevation with mountain views. There is a wood burning fireplace and we actually used it in June. We cooked amazing breakfasts, had BBQs,rented a pontoon boat, went horseback riding, and hiked on Castle Rock Trail-AWESOME. There is a Von's grocery store in town. We highly recommend THIS particular company in Big Bear. (They have other great cabins as well). Be prepared to walk all the stairs in Dawson's Peak Cabin. We will go back! We have told everyone about this cabin and company. Thank you!

Clean, bright and spacious log cabin. Great service from Big Bear Vacations. Loved the deck and the hot tub. Would def. return (although may try for a lake cabin next year!)
