The roomiest of all cabins at Shore Acres Lodge, Twin Pines has a large wrap around deck with a BBQ that overlooks the pool/spa area. The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave, coffee pot, toaster and dining table. The living room has a brick fireplace, TV/DVD and wireless internet. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed plus a full size bed and the second room has two full size beds. Good pets are welcome. We went for the weekend with my husband and friends. We also took our pets and had a great time.
tha cabin was confortable and clean and the location couldn't be better
the service was great too the people were friendly and very helpful

We enjoyed our stay at #111 Twin Pines at Big Bear Lake (Shore acres Lodge). Managers on duty were helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome. Grandchildren enjoyed the volleyball area, ping pong, horseshoes, and swings.
One suggestion: please replace/rework knobs on stove. One was missing, couldn't get oven on broil because of malfunction of knob. -

the town, the lake and surroundings are fantastic!
the people are great too, very friendly. everyone at big bear vacations were great to deal with and very helpful.
the cabin was OK, except for a few details. the sink faucet leaked, the door to the bathroom would not close all the way, the porch was in need of repair, the bathroom sink drained so slow i had to fix it myself. Jackie the manager was fantastic!
we left very early on sun to catch a plane and check out was a little sketchy, not knowing where to leave the key. but all in all, we plan to return. -

The property was a nice stay for the price and was average on clean, kind of old, but it was nice that they allowed pets. However, we wouldn't stay there again because the toilets backed up with the most moderate usage of T.P. and, even though there were two bathrooms, by 5am I had to find a Denny's so I could use the restroom. Very inconvenient.

We're sorry to hear that this event caused such devastation to you and your group. Plumbing issues are unpredicted and very unfortunate and exist in all homes alike. The property was blocked of the calendar and fixed property. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience and sometimes what hurts a property only makes it stronger. New plumbing accessories have been installed to prevent any issues of the like from happening in the future.

We tend to enjoy staying at the lodges on the water. We stayed in Twin Pines #111 this time and had a great experience. The convienience of location to downtown is a major plus for us since we spend a lot of time there. The lodge is nicely decorated and well kept.
As for the staff, we cold not been any happier. They helped us from the start of reserrvations through checkout. We appreciate the performance of them all. -

Everything was great except cabin.
When we arrived we opened cabin door and smelled bad.
The cabin had not been cleaned with dirty sheets and towels strewn about bedroom and bathroom.
Stove burners did not work and stove fan broken.
The office sent someone right out to fix so that was good. Cabin was just overall dirty and smelly. Needed a serious cleaning.Response from Big Bear Vacations - 07/11/2010

The cabin was well prepared for our needs with more than enough bed and bedding. The position of the cabin was nice and close to the lake and a short drive to the centre of town.
All in all a wonderful place to stay a very unique and relaxing atmosphere.
