Cabin has barbecue and sits on a large lot. Pet friendly with a fenced back yard.

We had no real idea what we were getting into but what a great experience. The staff was wonderful. The cabin was very quaint and inviting to stay. We will be back.

The cabin was very nice for the money. Everything was clean and orderly. This is a great place to rent if it is just two people or a family of four. The main bedroom is a tad small, has a queen bed, (not a big deal to us)and was comfortable. The second bedroom has bunk beds so kids will love it. It's close enough to walk ( 1/2 to 1 mile) to the Village, but part of the way there you walk on the street. The yard is fully fenced. This was a big deal to us because we brought two big unfriendly dogs and didn't want to worry about them escaping. One draw back was the yard is somewhat small for big dogs. The only real problems we encountered were the hot water and the TV. The hot water heater wasn't hot enough, so we didn't have enough hot water for us to both shower. It has to be turned up pretty high. The other problem we had was the Direct TV wasn't working (we have Direct TV at home so we know how to use it). This wasn't a big deal either as there were games to play which ended up being more fun. I would definitely recommend this cabin. I've stayed in several cabins up at Big Bear and this is one of the nicer for the price.

Thank you so much for taking some time to write this awesome review. I just wanted to update you on a couple issues the first being that we went ahead and had maintenance look at the hot water heater and it turns out it was on the economy setting. It has since been fixed so a hot water shortage will no longer be a problem. Also the homeowner came and fixed the Direct television. Once again thank you for writing this review and we sure hope you will give us a call when you are ready to come back and visit Big Bear!

We went for spring and it was nice. The cabin was great because it was clean, good enough space, comfortable and good location. Everything you need is there such as blankets, fireplace, kitchenware, soap and more. It was a pleasant stay.

A fantastic and worry-free experience overall. The cabin's location was convenient and close to town. The cabin was nice and cozy- plus the kids absolutely loved the bunk beds!

We had to book our long weekend at the last minute and we found this little cabin shrine tucked in a "forest like" area located just around the corner from the alpine Slide. We absolutely loved the cabin - we have two children so the bunk beds worked out perfectly. Great size for a family of four or less. Thank you Cool Cabins...we will definitely return very soon!

We very much enjoyed our stay for two days at this rustic cabin, with bunk beds that our kids loved! It was great to be able to walk to the Brewery Diner that has proven to be one of our favorite eateries in Big Bear. The Lake location is also the best!
