My family stayed at Fisherman Paradise over the 2012 Christmas week. The hose was well maintained with heated pool and Hot Tub. Plenty of bedrooms for a party of 10. Family enjoyed the comforts of the house and in particular fishing off the dock where my grandson caught a lot of different fish. Key West and Marathon are only a short car ride away to the grocery shopping and sight seeing. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the process of the rental providing information on the best places to go and eat. The care taker, maintenance staff and cleaning crew were all very helpful. Highly Recommend Fisherman Paradise.

Great Location, incredible amenities and spectacular views

Directly on the water, deck, pool, hot tub (didn't use) bedrooms have their own bathrooms, open floor plan, lots of room. Top notch appliances, kitchenware, etc. Couple of ipod docks and living area television as well as a smaller television in one bedroom. Beach towels were provided which was nice. We didn't swim in the pool but it was clean. Home looks newly renovated and very clean. Bonus was a downstairs, cellar bedroom which was a typical cellar bedroom but great to have the use of and it opened up to the area under the upstairs deck where there was a pool table which we enjoyed as well. Owner was attentive to questions and supplied a local attractions, shopping, etc. book that she had obviously put some thought into writing. We fished daily from the dock which extended well into the water and caught many varieties of fish, even a small shark! Weather was sunny the whole time. It was very windy the entire week we were there and I suspect that because of this there was a massive amount of strong smelling seaweed that collected and never left but fortunately there was a separate sandy area above the ocean' s reach with lounge chairs. I would highly recommend the property for a family rental as the owner obviously cares about this property and her guest's comfort. Forgot to mention--for those wine drinkers, there is even a wine refrigerator!! and big plus were the tiny deer that were all over the area!

The property and home are beautiful, this was our 2nd time to stay here and the photos don't do it justice, the whole interior of the home was completely renovated since the last time we were there, wow! It was a bit out dated before but now there is a gourmet kitchen, plasma tv's, and beautiful bathrooms and the view of the ocean got bigger 180 degrees of the most beautiful view anywhere. You can rent a boat if you don't have one or even have kayaks delivered. Lots of great little restaurants and a short drive to Key West for a change of pace. At night and in the morning we had Key Deer walking thru the property, like we were in another world. Kids in the pool and fishing off the dock and I really liked the jacuzzi at night, I never saw so many stars.
Great trip we will be back for 3rd time.
