Sioux Falls, SDDifficult to leave this awesome cabin tucked up in the mountains
Left on 08/04/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Our family stayed @ Beehive Basin and we all had a wonderful time. The location is secluded amongst trees and the view was fabulous while sitting in the hot tub out back. It is a bit of a drive up into the trees past Big Sky - but well worth the seclusion! The caretakers on site were very gracious and always willing to assist. Even Daisy, the dog @ the site, made us feel right at home! Unfortunately the moose and her baby did not rear their faces...but the bear did while we were grilling steak! The home had all the amenities and more to add to our vacation delight! We would definitely recommend for a family stay!

Each year our Writers Group heads out for a writing retreat. We loved Beehive Basin Cabin! The house was comfortable and in such an amazing location. We were all so happy to be there, and were very productive with our writing. Perfect place for peace and fun!

The house is located in a beautiful location. There are mountain views from 3 sides. The house is nicely furnished. The location is close to Big Sky and only about an hour away from Yellowstone. We had a moose run across the front of the house. The 4th of July celebration in Big Sky was so much fun. Wonderful vacation.

My sisters and I spent 5 beautiful days at Beehive Basin Cabin. We didn't expect snow in June, but it was a wonderful surprise! The privacy was perfect for a restful vacation and the scenery was incredible! I would love to go back every year!

Left on 09/25/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We wanted a relaxing week in a cooler location. I wanted to fish, my wife wanted to photograph wildlife and we both wanted to see a part of the country that we had not previously seen. We enjoyed every minute of it.

New Hartford , NY (upstate)It was magical waking up in the mountains.

My family and I stayed in Beehive Basin Cabin which overlooked Lone Mountain.. We were pleasantly surprised by the mountain location (we really didn't know the cabin was literally "in" the mountains). The white -capped peaks, the 360 view of evergreens and mountains, and the prospect of spying some wildlife kept us in awe all week. The cabin couldn't have been more charming and well appointed. It was perfectly clean and everything looked so new. The 3 bathrooms were such a great asset as it made getting up and out so easy! The kids loved the hot tub with its amazing views. The porch was a terrific place to sit and sip our coffee before beginning our day. Having the quaint town center of Big Sky at the base of the mountain was just an added treat. Just an all around fantastic trip that we are still talking about! Thank you for helping to make our trip so memorable.

Left on 08/02/2010 for a stay in July 2010
We have been planning this trip with our adult children aftern a college graduation for one, high school graduation for another, and a marriage for the third. We have been to Big Sky before and found the Beehive Basin to be a great place to be. Don't miss hiking the Beehive Basin Trail. Beautiful! We fished, ate, soaked, visited Yellowstone, and connected in a great way as family.
