War Dance is located in the mountain village of the Big Sky Ski & Summer Resort. Custom built, this architecturally designed and meticulously maintained 3 bedroom 3-1/2 bath (King master with private bath, queen guest with private bath, bunk room with two lower doubles and two upper twins and private bath in hall, and over flow sleeping on queen murphy wall bed in downstairs family room), sits on the mountain on a secluded residential cul de sac adjacent to the ski slopes. War Dance is nestled in the trees where the Middle Fork Creek of the Gallatin River runs at its edge and Lake Levinsky waits at the top of the road. The western edge of Yel...lowstone National Park is just 18 miles down the road which makes this upscale home an excellent day base for trips to the park. And, three of Montana's blue ribbon trout rivers are just a short drive away. All of our guests enjoy our home and Big Sky as much as we do. We provide every amenity to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The interiors of this much sought after home feature rocky mountain luxury. The king size master bedroom sleeps two with a sitting area, HDTV/DVR, private deck with seating, and bath with double sinks, jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.

The queen size guest bedroom sleeps two with seating, TV, door to deck and private bath with double sinks.

The guest bedroom sleeps four in two lodgepole bunk beds with two lower double beds and two upper twin beds (upper twin beds are not suitable for adults), and a TV/DVD.

There is a full bath in the hall.

The family room located between the queen guest bedroom and bunk bedroom has overflow sleeping for two on a queen size murphy wall bed, sofa, table, chairs, HDTV/DVD/VCR and an outdoor deck with a six person hot tub.

The kitchen is fully stocked and seats four at the island. We can arrange to have groceries delivered for your arrival.

The dining room seats ten and opens to a deck with a picnic table, benches and chairs.

The living room has a wood burning fireplace, ample comfortable seating with two sofas and chairs and a large screen HDTV/DVD.

There is a half bath in the hall.

The two car enclosed garage is heated with a boot dryer and storage.

There is no other home on the mountain lovelier or more convenient. As always, tthe unobstructed mountain views, the ski access, the creek down below the house, the small pond at the top of the road are complimentary!

Additional Location Information

We are located in the mountain village of the Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort. Located on a dead end cul de sac on a one acre lot, we are across the street from the ski run "War Dance". The Middle Fork Creek of the Gallatin River runs behind the home. There is no other home location closer to the steps of the ski base area, yet you are far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the unobstructed mountain views and the sounds of the running creek.

  Another great year at Big Sky and War Dance

  I can't believe this is the last day to ski. It was another great week at Big Sky and War Dance. Yesterday was perfect weather and good snow. There are a few inches of fresh powder this morning and the clouds are clearing as I write. Thank you again for sharing your lovely home with us for another year.

  A wonderful must visit vacation home in Big Sky Montana

  This is my 6th Visit in the last 10 years that i've been lucky enough to Visit this magnificent home! Everything about the home is first class from the ski in ski out option, the beauty of its location sitting below the mountain to the incredible home itself. Each room has its on personality and its own charm. Everything needed for an extremely comfortable stay is available and I and my friends absolutely love every amenity such as the hot tub, beautiful decks, kitchen, heated large garage, living spaces and beautiful fireplace inside the main sitting area. Its always exceeded our expectations with each visit. If you love to ski a great mountain with ease to the ski lifts you will enjoy skiing the War Dance and Low Dog trails home as well as taking the regular Low Dog Road. I truly love both Big Sky and Montana and i will definitely be visiting again! If you really want to stay in a great home at a great ski or summer destination I highly recommend this home!

  So great we've booked it again

  And that is probably the most important thing to know.
  
  Very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable home. We felt like we had everything right at our fingertips. The only downside is that the ski-in part is down a double-black-diamond slope, so it isn't ski-in for us.

  We look forward to having you all back in February. Remember you can ski back down Silver Knife, a blue run, but take the right turn before the headwall and ski down the green run, Bear Back Poma, or ride the poma lift down to the top of our road. From there it is a quick five minutes to the house. Check out our new ski in and out video on our website www.bigskyvacationrental.com. In terms of vacation home rentals, there is still no other location closer to the slopes.
