My husband and I stayed here w/ a small group of friends and had a wonderful time. The house had all the necessary ammenities (two fireplaces; bar; beautiful deck and hot tub overlooking Gallatin River) to make our stay a time to remember.

The best vacation rental we have ever stayed in - after 21 years of visiting this part of Montana, we have found the place we all think of when we think of the Treasure State. The home is immaculate, appointed with every comfort and convenience you could ever want, central to getting to Yellowstone, the Madison, Big Sky and all the activities Southwest Montana has to offer. And the setting on the river could not be more beautiful, peaceful and dream-inspiring. The O'Neil's are the most gracious hosts possible, available when you need something and invisible the rest of the time. Not only will we be back next year, but can't wait to stay in winter. The house it is close enough - especially with the diligence in plowing the road for tourists! - to Big Sky to take advantage of the skiing, but far enough away to enjoy the peace of winter and foraging animals without the upscale tourism of being in downtown Big Sky. And with two fireplaces, fun and cozy. Thank you so much, Carolyn and Terry, for your hospitality and sharing the beauty of your beautiful house and setting with us. We will be back!!

We were lucky to find such a gorgeous rental on the beautiful Gallatin River. The property and the attention to details were the best we have found in the area. The home was well equipped with everything we needed for comfort and pampering. Everything was clean and well organized. The owners were friendy, accommodating, and eager to share their "little piece of heaven". The bedding was most comfortable with soft sheets and also plenty of towels for the bath. The setting offered river and mountain views just far enough off the road to be serene. There was ample river frontage for fishing and for wildlife viewing. The hot tub made the evenings most relaxing. There was a great bar area with a popcorn popper. The owners supplied soaps and paper products and several more items that we have always had to purchase for ourselves at other rentals. The home was located close to Big Sky and the boundary of Yellowstone Park. There was a good restaurant nearby. It would be recommended to buy groceries and supplies in Bozeman but there were a couple of smaller markets about 5 miles away. We had good TV and telephone reception. The best part about the rental was the obvious pride taken in the up-keep of the property and the willingness to provide us with a comfortable stay. The only downside we found was that we had to call and go nextdoor to use a washer, although we did have a dryer. The downstairs area was full of bunk beds, probably more appropriate for children. We would highly recommend this rental if you are wanting to feel like you are "home, away from home".

We rented this home with 2 other couples and couldn't have been more satisfied. The home was gorgeous and the guys especially liked the fly fishing without having to drive anywhere, while the ladies enjoyed the hot tub. The home had all the amenities you could ask for. Carolyn & Terry were wonderful hosts and we definitely would like to return.

Great place to stay. The accomodations were great. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

What can I say!!! It's the perfect vacation home. We are heading off this week for our third 2-week stay. After my husband saw it the first year he wanted me to book it for the next 10 years! The house is spectacular - right on the Gallatin River - close to Yellowstone, fishing, horseback riding, hiking and golf. Terry and Carolyn are incredible hosts! I look forward to these two weeks all year. It's a must vacation!
