The views from Cascade Ridge are some of the Best in Big Sky. We have stayed twice in the Powder Ridge Cabins, but the accomodations and scenery blow them away. There is a private clubhouse to soak or swim, which also offers billiards/various games and a bar with beer/wine. The manager of Cascade Ridge will point out the highlights of the area and pour you a nice cold one while he's at it. It's a short drive to Moonlight Basin lodge and Big Sky Resort, with plenty of wildlife to see along the way. The area in the summer offers fly fishing, white water rafting, horseback riding, and various activities at the Big Sky Basecamp. This was an amazing place to call home for the week.

We absolutely loved Cascade Ridge. The home was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed (including a great ice machine that we needed for long hikes). The lodge was right next to our house and added another area for the kids with us (4 ranging in age from 8 - 15 to entertain themselves, including pool, excercise room, pool table, and the kids personal favorites - sand shuffle board. Service was impeccable and friendly. We highly recommend Cascade Ridge and will likely be going back.

The Cascade Ridge units are very nice (actually the rental unit at the end of the street owned by the developer is even nicer, because it has a small theater room and better view). Very warm and inviting. On this particular week the ice maker apparently broke, and the floor was a disaster getting worse by the day. They credited us one-night's rent. Assuming all that damage was fixed, this is a nice place to stay. One other thing: the master bedroom is right off the kitchen in this unit (but not in the developer's unit), and we found that a slight annoyance.
