We stayed at Moondance Lodge in July with 6 adults (3 couples) and 3 kids. House is great! Has wonderful kitchen with everything you need (except the food). Spices, dishes, etc. Grill on the porch, outdoor fireplace, hot tub. House has a great feel to it, great views from the porch. House is definitely "high end", with the fixtures, doors, etc.
The rental company is extremely helpful. Call them with any questions you have (where things are, restaurant recommendations, taxi needs, etc.)

We appreaciated the visit from Big Sky Luxury Rentals on arrival. The house was laid out very well for our family (5 adults and 6 children). However, the "bunk room" needs some attention as there was a bad odor there that caused our four boys to move into the main house on the couches in order to sleep. We loved the grate room/kitchen area and also the hot tub on the deck.
The location is wonderful as long as you don't mind driving a short distance to the slopes. If you expect true ski in/ski out then this is not the house for you as it took 30 minutes of cross country poling to get to the slopes.Response from Big Sky Luxury Rentals - 06/04/2012

MontanaTerrific Home for Family Reunion

Our extended family of 13 (including 2 small children) gathered for 6 days at Moondance Lodge in Big Sky, Montana. The home is spacious, with a very well-equipped kitchen. We loved the open kitchen/dining/living space and the privacy offered by the many bedrooms. We enjoyed the large deck, hot tub, outdoor fireplace (great for making S'mores) and the BBQ grill, which was also put to use during the week. The management team was responsive to our needs and helped to make our stay enjoyable. We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this home as a place to spend time together, friends or family...

We have travelled all over Canada on ski vacations and decided this year to try the us. We were not disappointed. The Moondance Lodge was everything that the web site said and more. The view was stunning. The accomodations were fantastic. We were a group of 14 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lodge had everything you could want. I highly recommend it.
