    Awesome

The room is great. Lots of room to relax. The fireplace is awesome and keeps the room nice and toasty. The whirlpool tub is great after a day of exploring the outdoors.

    Wonderful Montana honeymoon experience!

Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in February 2013

My husband and I stayed in the Vista Suite for our honeymoon and are very pleased with our stay. The room was very clean, spacious, and comforting. The continental breakfast had a wide variety including the biggest muffins I have ever seen, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, english muffins, toast, and bagels...I am not a breakfast person, but went down for the continental breakfast every morning. The staff wasn't always at the front when we walked in, but when they were they always greeted us with a smile on their face. The lodge does have a soda machine, but no vending machine, so if you wanted snacks in your room you needed to visit the local grocery store; however the Vista suite does have a fridge and microwave. The one complaint that I do have about the Vista suite is that there is a patio/french door below the patio door in the suite and we stayed in the winter so when people were coming or going early in the morning or late at night they were slamming the door; which by mid week got very irritating. It would wake you up in the morning or keep you from falling asleep at night.

It was a comfortable, clean and nice place to stay!

Left on 09/28/2012 for a stay in September 2012

I very much enjoyed all of our interactions with the staff, and we had a beautiful room. I loved how close we were to some restaurants and stores, as well and centrally located for spa services, outdoor activities, and other places to eat. I loved the cabin-y feel of the room, and how big it was. I liked almost everything about it! The only thing I didn't love was that they still had a VCR in the room that didn't work (though we did love the selection of Vhss down in the lobby!), and that the pipes under the sinks in the bathroom were exposed. Just not the best view when you're lounging in the nice tub! Other than that, everything was perfect. Thanks River Rock Lodge!

We really enjoyed our four nights in the Vista Suite. Everything was first class and we highly recommend it to others.

River Rock Lodge - Vista Suite

Left on 07/25/2012 for a stay in July 2012

River Rock Lodge is a very nice hotel. A little dated but still in good condition. The thing that sets River Rock Lodge apart is their staff. They have the best staff that I have ever encountered in my 25+ years of travel. There is plenty to do in the Big Sky area and there are nice shops and dining options within walking distance of the Lodge.
