Ski Out: Step out the garage, go straight ahead to connect to the Bear Back Poma. At the top of the Poma you will ski a groomed access run to Ramcharger and Swift Current in the base area.
Ski In: Intermediate and Expert can ski Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Follow the poma down, but don't go all the way to the bottom. There are a lot of stairs so may not be the best place for all people. Had a great time the house was beautiful. We have a few suggestions and FYI. We rode motorcycles and got caught in 2 rain showers. The heated vents in the garage we great for drying out our riding gear. If you want to see bears we saw three here at the house; for that reason it would be nice if the hot tub was on a deck and you would not have to walk on rocks to get in/out of the hot tub. Don't leave your vehicle open and unattended with food inside as it will soon be outside with a bear. Let the bear have the food. Our neighbors were lucky nothing happened due to their lack of judgment. If someone is going to use the pull out sofa get an air mattress for more comfort. Be aware on the top level you will share a shower but have 2 different bathrooms. There is a chair ripped in the kitchen. Yellowstone entrance is about an hour away however it will take another hour to get to the park main attractions such as mammoth springs etc. Be sure to eat at the broken spoke they have great smoked BBQ. Thank you Big Sky for a great vacation getaway.
Good balance of location and newness

Black Eagle 32 is a great unit. Relatively new and close to the base. Just keep in mind it is a stretch to call it ski-in/ski-out. Very clean and well appointed, but the linens and pillows were a bit tired. We would definitely consider returning.
Big Sky Vacation Rentals customer service is second to none.

Had the most amazing time in Big Sky & this property & the property managers made our trip tremendous. The fit & finish of this home is really top notch! So appreciative of the actual face to face meet & greet with property features described & questions answered. Also appreciated the welcome treats. We couldn't have asked for better conditions so coming home to this house & the hot tub with the great views of the mountain was just icing on the cake. Great location- short walk to main lifts -we just aren't up for the Poma lift & I think it would have been just as much walking. The place was so nice we enjoyed having most of our meals at home- kitchen was very accommodating. We decided to leave our skis with Mark & Yo (great people with lots of great tips about the mountain who also have the Burger Barn- great buffalo burger!) at their overnight slope side ski check so the walk was a breeze. Had to get new skis to handle the powder & Lone Mountain Sports was great to work with! Demo'd for two day (no charge!) & felt no pressure, just a lot of patient help until I found my perfect ski. Fantastic trip; this is the second time we rented thru Big Sky Vacation Rentals & we look forward to many more! Thanks to Kirsten, Kris & Kim
