Ski Rating 3.5 (Best for Intermediate and Expert Skiers)
Ski in/ Ski out to Big Sky Resort
Ski Out - Ski down driveway and take a right. Follow the road past 5 houses to the Thunderwolf Lift Access.
Ski In - Intermediate and Expert take Silverknife to Bear Back Poma. Ski past the bottom of the Poma on the ski trail to Low Dog Road. From here ski the road back to the house.
We recommend beginners ski to the Summit Hotel and walk out the front of the hotel and ski the road the whole way back down to Low Dog Road. Silverknife may be too step for beginners.

This home is absolutely beautiful and the furnishings add that perfect taste of wilderness to this wonderful place. The location truly is a ski-in ski-out home and we felt like we had the entire mountain to ourselves. Having our own private hot tub, a large living room and kitchen/dining area was perfect for our large group. It was an absolutely wonderful week and we can not wait to go back next year!

We had 7 fellas this year and 4 Bear's Den was perfect. The ski in, ski out was super easy. Didn't even need one of the rental cars. The service at Bsvr was very professional and accommodating. We changed houses about 6 weeks out and it was no problem. Recommended!

We stayed here for 4 nights and the house was great. The kitchen is a little limited on kitchenware and spices/condiments, but we only made breakfast there, so we had what we needed. The staff was very helpful and answered any question I had. We couldn't find a bottle opener anywhere in the house (very important for beer drinkers), so they delivered a bottle opened attached to a 6 pack of very nice local beer with a lovely note. Talk about personal service! I would definitely recommend this place and this management company to everyone.

We booked our family ski vacation after my wife and I stayed at 4 Bear's Den over the 4th of July this past summer. Our family of 4 (2 children 7 & 8) arrived late in the evening to a warm and cozy home during the middle of a snow storm. The next morning we were greeted with a fresh 7 or 8 inches of snow! We spent the next 5 days skiing, sledding and snowshoeing. The privacy this home provides in the summer is great but the snow covered trees in the winter make the privacy incredible. Each morning we would ski away from the home down Low Dog rd to Thunderwolf lift. After our ski day was over my wife and daughter would return to the home via the Poma lift and ski down Low Dog rd while my son and I would ski back to the home through the trees from Wardance ski run. Both return options were very convenient with the Wardance return option being more challenging. The home offered plenty of space, comfort and amenities with an upstairs loft area where our kids played Wii and watched T.V. When our kids were not skiing or relaxing in the loft area they were outside making snow forts, sledding or walking through the woods in the snow. As the evening came to a close we enjoyed spending time relaxing in the hot tub, listening to our son trying to name the stars and constellations in the sky. We loved the decor of the home and the convenient access to Big Sky resort where we would eat at least 1 meal/day. We will certainly be back!
