VancouverFeeling like home
Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012
I would like to thank you for a wonderful vacation that we had in your condo. There was such attention to detail in everything that we were truly impressed! We travel with all our own supplies as we never know what to expect to find in rentals, but your condo had it all - spices, flower/sugar etc, aluminum foil, extra paper towels and even ziplock bags! We did not use much as we had our own but just the fact that it was all there made us feel really welcome! Your George Foreman grill was quite an unexpected (and pleasant) surprise - it was perfect for hot paninis in a pinch! When I saw that in the bathroom you even had things like q-tips and cotton balls I was truly speechless. You are a perfect host :-)
I saw that you had an impressive collection of movies - we did not have time to watch them as we were out skating/tubing/walking every evening but it was nice to see. The abundance of candles and candle holders provided a true holiday/romantic ambiance.
We enjoyed the location of the condo - our children were able to go out by themselves and ski on Plaza chair in the morning for a while until we would join them. It was nice to be able to ski-in at the end of the day from Plaza Chair on the days of thick fog and not to go back to the top of the mountain for the ski-in.
I must admit that we were challenged by the entry lock on more than one occasion. We would typically have to enter the code at least 5 times until we were able to open the door, on one occasion we even had to call the building manager for help.
We would be happy to stay in your condo in the future again and to recommend it to our friends as well. -

Honolulu, HawaiiExcellent and affordable alternative to Hotel
Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Lovely condo. More affordable than comparable hotel. Looks much better in person than in pictures. Tastefully decorated, well-maintained and clean. Every appliance and all utensils for long-term stay including washer and dryer. Some supplies such as soap, shampoo, trash bags, etc to start you off. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. Size of the condo is best for one or two people or couple with one or two children. Four adults manageable but cozy. Two TVs with confusing controls. Internet access for a fee (pay attention to log on instructions). Cheapest payment option is by the day. View unto parking lot/condos across however on 4th floor looking uphill so can see mountain and ski runs. Building is ski-out. Ski-in requires short walk. Dedicated ski locker downstairs. 15-minute walk to resort center. Quiet part of the resort. Walk to the resort center is uphill by winding road or up green ski run. Alternative is free shuttle that stops right next to the condo every half-hour. Mr. Mazzola is easy to deal with and promptly responds to emails. Check-in is simple. Entry information sent upon reservation. Once there just sign in at the manager's office on the ground floor and go straight up. Door lock a little tricky.

Ottawa, OntarioSki Big White at its Best
Left on 03/22/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The condo that James owns is great. Very comfortable with everything you need and more. Top floor unit gives a good perspective up the mountain. Snow is great and the powder came a few times over the ten days.
Convenient location both for the center of the resort and to start your ski day. Ski in/out for lunch is no problem.
Very helpful building management that quickly took care of dead batteries in door lock and garage entry as well as getting the building elevator fixed quickly.
Overall, a great holiday arrangement. -

The home was really well appointed and in a great location. Ski in and out was great, and the bus stopped right outside to go to the village. Love the work are in the building for ski waxing and maintenance.
Would recommend for your stay -

EdmontonFour Star accomodation in Big White
Left on 01/20/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Everything was good with the appartment! The on- site manager was very helpful. The appartment is well situated, 10 meters away from the ski run; it was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. It is quiet, the lockers in the basement and the parking lot are definite a plus. One small complaint: there were some one bed sheet and a pillow case that had small signs of blood on them; we used the spare linen available. The only negative is that we only had a week to stay. We will definitelly go back; Thank you James for your hospitality!

We would love to book your ski home again. We had a great time and truly appreciated all of the amenities and the superbly well equipped kitchen. We found the bed in the master bedroom to be a little bit on the firm side, but that could be just a personal preference. We will be back for sure!!! Loved it.
