  We stayed at this unit last March, renting directly from the owner. The steps up to the unit from the driveway had never been shoveled and were difficult to climb. There were icicles hanging from the roof that were so big they were dangerous. The weight of the ice on the roof caused cracks and water was dripping from the ceiling in a couple of places. The hot tub was not particulary clean, the water needed changing. The towel rack in the bathroom was on the floor. We kindly informed the out of province owner of the issues she should have taken care of. After leaving the unit cleaner than we found it, the owners declined to return our damage deposit.
