Stay 200 ft from the base of Lara’s Gondola, providing direct access to the Big White Village Centre.   The Perfect Ski Vacation!

  This is a beautiful residence, and an easy ski-in-ski-out location. The rooms are spacious, and have lovely comfy furnishings. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight! Not only is there everything you need to prepare most any meal, they provide lovely serveware and stemware for your fine wine. There is a large steam shower, and very comfortable private hot tub on the patio, which feel so wonderful after burning up the legs on the miles of ski runs on this mountain. Your ski locker is right outside of the front door. We just put on our skis in the morning, zipped down to the gondola, and rode up to start our day. When our legs were done and our adventures over, its just a short hop off the trail and right up to the front door again! I have been skiing for many years, and this is just the most perfect place I have found to have a winter vacation: even if it becomes too windy and cold to ski, you can snuggle in, enjoy the fire, whip up some delicious food, soak away in the hot tub, and have a fine day indeed! If you have children, it is a very short stroll to the Happy Valley Day Lodge, the skating pond, the beginner area, the Tubing, and all the special kids activities Big White holds in the evenings. Oh, and the owners were most generous and kind, and made sure that any special needs were met for us. A truly lovely and happy place to stay!

  Perfect Family Vacation

  This condo has it all for a great family vacation. The condo offered more than sufficient size for a family of 4 (2 skiers and 2 boarders). Main bedroom was a perfect little get away for mom and dad to either enjoy the built in reading nook or catch up on TV. 2nd Bedroom with bunkbeds was perfect for the kids to play/relax. Brian and Monica provided all the necessities and more. Didn't even get a chance to use the espresso machine. Family Room/Kitchen area was a great place to spread out and relax to enjoy a pre or post slope snack, or a little nap on the couch. The Hot Tub was perfect for an end day relaxation session.
  
  The location in Happy Valley was perfect. 300 meters from the Gondola up to the Village, tube park, skating rink and Happy Valley Lodge. This condo was truly a ski in/out location only had to skate/push for about 15 feet. Big White has too many activities to enjoy in only a short time. So much that we didn't even get to use all the toys provided at the condo. With a 7/9 year old the Wii was barely used and the toboggan remained hidden for the duration.
  
  Brian and Monica were extremely helpful and patient in helping us book and were timely in answering any questions we had.
  
  A couple of tips for non-locals driving in:
  
  - stock up at Costco and Walmart if you are there for a while. They are both at the intersection of Hwy 97 and 33 on your way to Big White
  - need a ski/board shop in Kelowna? Fresh air Ski and Board shop. 5 mins West of Hwy 97/33 intersection. Awesome customer service
  about the resort
  - awesome kids ski/board school. Instructors are great. Good way to introduce the kids for lessons
  - snow. One of the best opening sessions at the mountain. 80 cm of snow in 5 day. Only 50% of runs groomed made for some awesome conditions
  - resort guests. 70% Aussies, 25% from the UK and the rest locals
  
  Overall we would highly recommend Big White and specifically this Condo. We are looking forward to our return trip

  This condo is perfectly located - put your skis on at the door and in a minute you're at the gondola that takes you up to the village and main lifts then at the end of the day we were able to ski down to our door - it was great. Location was really important to us but what really made the trip surpass our expectations was how much we enjoyed our time off the slopes. The unit was beautifully furnished and very well equipped with good amenities and oh yes it had comfortable beds. It was just a great place to relax and have a glass of wine at the end of the day. The owners, Monica and Brian, were very nice to deal with and very accomodating so the whole experience was a very good one from start to finish -we would book again
