from SwitzerlandFabulous holiday
Left on 05/15/2013 for a stay in April 2013
I was at the clydeside farm 2 weeks from 27. April - 11. May 2013.
It was my first time in Scotland and I had some problems to find the farm without navigation in the night... I called Liz (the host) and she picked up me from the country road :-) very nice !!!
The cottage is very new. I was the second guest since opening in the cottage Lk24. The whole cottage is complete equipped from towels in the bathroom to the kitchen with also washing machine and cleaning utensils.
The quality of the bed was very good, because I have problems with the back.
At the farm I could see many sheeps, cows and 3 dogs.
Parking directly in front of was charge of free.
The Lk24 has got 2 bathrooms both with shower, 1 livingroom with an open kitchen. From the entrance you come in the livingroom.
The farm is situated next to the motorway M74 (5 minutes).
I drove 1 h to Edinburgh and also to Glasgow. The next town is Biggar (10 minutes), where you can shop everything you need.
The area was very quiet and recreativ and a good point to start my daytrips in all directions.
At the end i would say thank you to Liz, it was a very nice holiday and thanks for your help everytime!
Hope to see you and your family again.
Verena
