Portland, ORCozy and Relaxing
Left on 05/23/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Great place to stay ~ what a wonderful view of the pond, which ended up being perfect as my niece (2 yrs old) had a ball exploring. The weather also ended up being rainy and even snowy a part of the time so we could all relax and enjoy the outdoors from the wonderful large windows in the great room. We all had a great time, the kitchen is small but you can fit two people comfortably and the beds were nice and cozy. We'd be happy to stay here again. Our family is growing so we most likely will pick a bigger place next time but that is the only reason.

First Stay at Black Butte Ranch
CheshireHosting children and grandchildren
Left on 06/05/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Our first stay at Black Butte Ranch was a comfortable, beautiful experience in view of aspen Lake with daily walks with the small grandchildren to see the ducks, do some swimming and bicycling, and eat at Robert's Pub(in spite of the unseasonably damp and cold weather!).

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin fit the family, the location was just wonderful we very much enjoyed the lake. It was clean and every thing worked. The fireplace was even ready for us and the BBQ was ready to fire up.
Thank you for a wonder couple of days. -

wanice area, cost way too much
Left on 09/17/2009 for a stay in August 2009
I think the area is beautiful but was too expensive and I didn't care for the
sneaky representation of giving you 100.00 credit to spend yet you are really
charged for it. That is not free credit. That is charging me for what I used and
then charging me back any portion of the 100.00 I didn't use.
Misrepresentation. I will visit area again but not the ranch. -

Newberg, ORLove Black Butte and this house
Left on 09/15/2009 for a stay in August 2009
We spent 4 days at Black Butte this summer and stayed at Aspen Home 024. It was my husband and my three year old son and we had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us and the location was perfect. Right in the back yard was Aspen Lake where we'd go and feed the ducks every morning and evening and you are right on the bike trail and close to everything. We'll definitely be looking to stay there again!

Black Butte is a long way to come for something we are not that "into". Would
never had if not for a family reunion. We do not like big resort complexs. Our
main complaint was that you had to drive everywhere because the ranch is so
gigantic. With small children being away from everything made it even harder
and then there were so many people at the pool when we got there-no place
to sit -we just went left and went to sisters.
The house itself worked out ,but there are no tables in the living room for
drinks and the whole atmosphere is slightly depressing because of the 70's
feel of the structure and decor. It could use a good update!
