We've stayed several times at Black Butte Ranch near Sisters, Oregon and this was the best. The cabin has gone thru some upgrades that makes it feel more modern than the other ones we've stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans etc.

Black Butte is a true vacationer's paradise. The bike paths are so enjoyable The golf courses are well-maintained. The house that we stayed in was designed so perfectly for our needs.
We were all very happy with the entire staff at Black Butte. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
Black Butte is close to some of the best fly-fishing in the world, and to very scenic hikes. The town of Sisters, which is just 7 miles away, is easily accessible for groceries and other needs. -

We have come to Black Butte every spring for golf getaway since 1988! Courses both in very good condition, and the Big Meadow restaurant is really good, and a most welcome addition to your facility. We marvel at the setting every visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed Black Butte, particulary the pools, horse back riding, bicycle paths, tennis and canoeing. Wish there had been more restaurant facilities available, especially at a little more reasonable prices. I would certainly come again though and highly recommend it to others.

I have been staying at BB for almost 30 years. Doesn't matter where you stay, it's all good. It's a special place, one of a kind.
One suggestion is that bikes should be made available, free of charge, for guests. Or, a nominal fee, say $1-2/day, would be ok. Not having a bike changes the experience, and the current rental fees are ridiculous when you are paying $350/night.
