This large home sits between the Lodge Recreation area and the Glaze Meadow Recreation area. It has an inviting entrance where the hall leads to a laundry room, 2 car garage and the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, and features a Jennaire range. The dining room seats 6, plus a breakfast bar,and is open to the living area for a great room effect. The décor is coordinated and comfortable. The large deck surrounds the house for outdoor relaxation and a f...amily gathering. This home sits on a very private one acre lot with easy access to the Lodge, South Meadow pool and Ranch recreation areas. The master suite features a queen-size bed and an open dressing bathroom, with a large Jacuzzi tub, private shower and water closet for the toilet. Deck access is available from the suite. There is a special circular staircase inside the bedroom leading to a private loft "crow's nest" that serves as a quiet getaway perfect for star gazing at night. There is a panoramic view of the Ranch from this cozy retreat. An additional King bedroom is on the main level with a 3/4 bath and deck access. Upstairs is a queen bedroom and a full bath in the hall. The landing is large and features a loft sleeping area with two bunks. The house was nice, large deck great layout for larger gatherings. The only suggestion would be there are 2 master bedrooms on ground level, the larger was a little chilly and had only queen bed but large tub and TV. The second smaller Master had no TV in the room, but all other bedrooms including the bunk bed room had TV.
We love going to Black Butte during all seasons.

The space for 4 adults and 2 teenagers was good. The kitchen and bathrooms need to be updated. We had to buy coffee filters that fit the pot because there were none that fit the pot.
We were there during 90+ degree days and the a/c did not reach the master suite addition so sleeping in that area was not comfortable. The rest of the house was comfortable.
The bicycles in the garage were wonderful and fit everyone.
The location within the ranch was lovely and an easy bike ride to all facilities.
Love the resort, would get a different house next time

We stayed with our two kids (10 & 12) and my parents. Loved the property, the pools, the bike trails, the meadow, the horses. The house has great bones, but is a little dated in terms of decor, and is a bit too far to walk to pools. We would probably try a different house next time, closer to rec facilities. Not to knock the house too much; it was big and comfortable.
Nice but needed a few things

The rooms were great, and there was plenty of space for all of our group - in general we were very happy with the unit, except we ran out of everything, so i was glad that we had brought as much as we did...there were not many plates cups bowls and such, we used paper products that we brought, we ran out of paper tpwels from the unit so bought more in town, we also didnt have garbage bags - just little things that we were lucky we had packed but it would have been nie not to have to pack for "camping" when we paid good money to stay.,,, but the unit is great - lots of room!
Wonderful weekend golfing with friends

This was our third year as a group golfing in Oregon. We had previously stayed at Eagle Crest and Sunriver. We found the accomodations, people, golf course, and the property to be excellent in every detail. We would love to return in the future as a group and individually.

The place was great. Most of the staff was nice and helpful. There was however one staff member that was not nice, boader line rude. I did not enjoy working with her.

The home accommodated our family of 9, ages 11-75, for an enjoyable reunion. We all loved the old-growth ponderosas and the home's location close to the open meadow with walking/biking paths and mountain views. Having bicycles for our use was a plus...and the proximity to a swimming pool was great. We appreciated the outdoor grill, the spacious deck, the large dining table, and the washer/dryer. Most beds were comfortable except the upstairs double bed. When we accidentally broke a light fixture in the laundry room, BB Ranch personnel were prompt in replacing it. We could have used more kitchen towels.

I personally did not stay in 017 (we were in 021)but other members of my family did stay there. I believe they enjoyed the home very much, however there was a pretty major plumbing problem in the upstairs bathroom. There was leakage to the laundry room below, and maintenance had to spend quite awhile repairing the problem. This problem and the time it took to fix it prevented useage of the upstairs bathroom for a time; aside from this inconvenience, I think the home worked out very well for our family. There was plenty of space in the home, nice kitchen and deck. Good location.
