Five adults and two children enjoyed the comfort of this well furnished home. We appreciated the privacy of the home and the close proximity to the rec center and pool. Having access to the garage was nice for additional storage space. Our only recommendation would be to add air conditioning as it was quite hot the first two nights of our stay and somewhat uncomfortable trying to sleep. The fans provided were of minimal help.
The location is great and the layout worked well for us.

We have rented at Black Butte Resort many times from 1975 to 2012. This is the first time that we have rented from the resort rather than directly from an owner. This enabled us to rent for fewer than seven nights in the summer, which was what we needed this year. We also had fresh towels delivered, although nothing told us that this was available.
With two young grandchildren along, we were appreciative of the twin beds in a downstairs bedroom, instead of the usual bunk beds. Their parents got the other downstairs bedroom, and we grandparents had a quiet upstairs bedroom with bath. The only negative in sleeping arrangements was the bunkbed in the upstairs loft. The days were very hot, and the loft or balcony has no windows for ventilation at night when the air cooled considerably.
The kitchen was well-appointed, and I liked the labels that told what went in each drawer and on each shelf. The dining room table was fine for seven of us. The living room had comfortable and adequate seating.
The house is almost next to the bike path just a short distance from the Glaze Meadow pool and tennis court complex. We were pleased with our choice.

Very nice place, and close to the Glaze Meadow pool. We all had a great time, especially the grandkids.

We shared the house with another family again for the 2nd year in a row. The house is in a great location. The weather was extremely hot this year and we could have used more fans...the ventilation wasn't very good. The bathrooms (especially upstairs) could really use a remodel....ditto for the kitchen.
The owners should also think about those bunk beds that are precariously placed next to the half wall that overlooks the living room from the 2nd floor.
We moved them to a safer area.
We love BBR for its low key atmosphere, but this house is on the low side and could benifit from a remodel or update.
We will look forward to staying in another unit for our future visits.

Great for small children

Grandparents took 6, 7, and 8 years for vacation. Location great for pool and biking. All in all really enjoyed the home. Only complaint I would have is lack of good lighting for little ones reading (and grandparents). We enjoyed the total resort.
Would be helpful to have full stock groucery store.
