This three-story Central Oregon vacation rental home has a large living room on the main floor with flat screen TV and second family room on the lower walk out level; the main level living room as a large wood burning fireplace and the lower level has a wood burning stove. Also on the main level, and just off the living area is a large kitchen with older appliances, a dining table with seating for eight guests and additional bench style seating at a counter top. My family and I enjoyed our stay at Black Butte.
The home was big and beautful,lots of space,my grankids had lots of room to play. The location was perfect for
the swimming pool and all the walking paths. Lots of snow.The best part of the trip was walking and spending
time with my family. We will definitly be back.

We got there during a 100 degree hot spell and failed to find the thermostat until the heat wave had subsided. Apart from that, we were surprised at how spacious and accomodating the house was for our family reunion and how beautifully situated it was on the golf course. A previous guest/renter criticized the interior as being in need of updating. Give me a break. We were here for a vacation and reunion, not to critique the superficial lack of stainless steel and granite in the kitchen. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and that was why we went to the Ranch.

Terrific location and Black Butte is special. The home was very dated and the kitchen furnishings, ie, appliances, pots, pans, etc, were not just old, but in some cases dirty. Tv's and electronics very outdated.

We rented this beautiful home for a holiday stay with friends. This spacious vacation home has two large family room areas-perfect for groups with various age ranges and activities! It's location near the Glaze Meadow Pool facilities-pool, spa, hot tub-and bike path was very convenient. From the main living area you see only the golf course and beautiful pine forest-so you feel like you are in a remote mountain home. We would definitely come back again!
