Description from the manager
Adorable, cozy cabin located minutes from downtown Black Mountain. Fully furnished 3 bedroom 1 bath with A/C, electric fire logs in fireplace, washer/dryer and back deck. Also has expanded cable and a DVD player. One month minimum stay. SHEETS AND TOWELS INCLUDED for your convenience. $200 pet fee. Included with the monthly rent is $100 per month power allowance and $50 per month water allowance. Any overage to be reimbursed by tenant. Also the fuel tank will be full upon your arrival and tenant is asked to pay for fuel top-off at departure.

I highly recommend this property. Both the grounds and the home were very attractive and well-maintained. The cottage had both the charm of an older home (hard wood floors and wood paneling in some rooms, stone fireplace) and convenient, up-to-date appliances (most importantly for me, wireless internet). The neighborhood itself was quiet, safe, and beautiful.

Getaway is a great little cottage in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Everything you need is within walking distance - including downtown, Black Mountain. Excellent dining just a click up the road at Cheshire Village. Cottage is not suited for anyone without the ability to step up into a claw foot tub.
