This detached 18th century cottage is situated near to Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Mill Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century near the small village of Tan-y-Bwlch, just five miles from Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales. The cottage has one double bedroom and one single room with a pull out bed as well as two family bathrooms, making it suitable for four people. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Nice clean quaint comfortable cottage,great location for site seeing North Wales.great for the dogs as woods behind cottage as it said in advert,cottage on main road with traffic noise but you get used to it .

A warm welcome from very nice owners.A delightful cottage with lots of character,well equipt but not crampt,super garden.Lots of interesting walks around the area,really nice great for unwinding,our little Westie loved it.
We really enjoyed Porthmadog and we went on the Railway from there to Rhyd Ddu and back this was really good and of course we took our little dog everywhere.The Copper Mines at Beddgelert are well worth a visit,yes you can take your dog there as well.We drove up Mount Snowdon and shopped till we dropped...We are pensioners and had saved long and hard for the most enjoyable holiday ever,the Welsh people are very nice and everyone made us welcome,bad points,and its no ones fault but the goverment,charging 5p for a bag,this was the first week of doing this,when I questioned 1 or 2 shopkeeper what happened to the 5p no one knew!
Love to go back to Mill Cottage again.
The Cottage is on a busy main road so not really suitable for young children and you must keep a watchful eye on your dog,but if you are sensible then its not a problem.The road noise was quite noticable to us as we live in a small Hamlet,we soon got use to it and it did not spoil our holiday at all. -

A delightful cottage with all you need for an enjoyable holiday. Based in an area within easy reach of all the attractions in the area and wonderful walks close to. The owners are friendly and helpful. There was a problem with the microwave but within a few hours it was sorted and replaced. Nice to find milk in the fridge and fresh flowers on arrival. The kitchen is really well equipped even if you decide to cook every meal. The information does warn about the traffic. Don't let this put you off, it does't disturb during the night even with the window open, and you soon get used to it if your in during the day. Will certainly book here again for this area. Just one word about the post code, it takes you up a lane to the back of the property. Stay on the main road with the Oakley arms on your right and you will find the cottage on the right hand side just a little way along still on the main road. Much better to follow the owners written directions when you get close to and not Satnav.
