I rented this cabin with four other women, to escape our hectic lives and enjoy some fall colors. We had reserved the cabin 3 months prior to our trip and I can truely say, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. The directions in, were right on target, and the house was way more than had been anticipated. We ventured out daily, whether to shop the quaint shops of Blue Ridge, or attend festivals in Blairsville & Hiawassee. Every evening we looked forward to our return, where we would relax around the campfire. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the screened in porch. There was also plenty of room to enjoy some early morning yoga out there. If there was anything at all to improve on, I would say maybe have some extra rolls of toilet tissue on hand and make sure burnt out bulbs along rear of home are replaced regularly. These are minor, compared to the tranquil visit we had. This is definitely a cabin to return to. Even though it's referred to as a cabin, it's actually a very large, 3-level home. We would like to thank the owners for opening their home to us. It is a place they should be very proud of!

This location is super quiet. The house is beautiful and the view from the kitchen, living room, dining room and kitchen is perfect...full of trees, rolling hills, deer, and horses. I'm certain it's a spectacular view in every season.
The main house is very comfortable with plenty of room. The kitchen is spacious, plenty of equipment and counter space. We cooked in the kitchen every day. The large screened in porch is a room unto itself...one of our guests even slept on the porch a few nights. The master bedroom is huge with a large bathroom. One bedroom on the main floor has a double bed with a large window with a great view. The smaller bedroom has two twin beds.
It is a bit of drive to the grocery store, town, restaurants: 20-30 minutes. So that can be part of the charm if you want to escape the city. The donkeys and the horses along the way to town provide great photo opps.
Hiking the at is spectacular. Crane Creek Vineyards is just as stunning as any vineyard in California (the wine is decent, the scenery is wonderful, the staff is great, and the shop is lovely).
I couldn't give 5 stars for comfort because the separate apartment downstairs does not look or feel like it belongs to the same house...it needs better furniture and lighting...no one in our party wanted to stay in it. So, the main house is really a three bedroom, two bath, sleeps 6. If the apartment downstairs is used (possibly remodeled) then it can sleep 9.
I would definitely stay here again! It is a great value and the owner was a pleasure to work with. -

This is a beautiful home at a very affordable price.
The house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable.
The only thing needed is a trip to the grocery store.
Me and my family stayed for 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. -

This house and location cannot be topped as far as convenience to town, medical facilities, restaurants, etc.
Nice large house, room for all, just very relaxing on the back porch with the grandest of views of the mountains. Such a country location!! You can't find another place as nice as this for the rates.
It was a pleasure, I plan to return soon!! -

This home was very comfortable and perfectly located. Our family has visited Blairesville many times and this home had the most room of any of the homes we have rented by far. We really enjoyed our stay!!

I highly recommend this beautiful rental home. My family thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay! There are plenty of activities for the kids, tubing and white water rafting, just to mention a few. The house is lovely and the owners are very hospitable. We have already reserved two weeks next year and can hardly wait to return!

My wife and I enjoyed the stay very much. The house was so beaughtiful and had everything we needed. The views are spectacular and lots of wild life. There were a group of horses who grazed in the pasture every afternoon which we enjoyed. I will definetly be back and would recommend it to anyone.
