Loganville, GAThe best!!!
Left on 03/18/2013 for a stay in March 2013
In the blink of an eye, I chose to take me and my young boys (3) to the mountains. I started looking and heard about Flipkey. I looked through all the pics and this one caught my eye. I called Mr. Gaskill and he was wonderful. He was warm and welcoming. We left late that evening and made it up to the cabin and was quite surprised how clean and beautiful this place was. My boys were in heaven. The only thing we had to bring was our toothbrushes and some food. Everything for "home" was there. The next morning we woke to the most beautiful sunrise and my boys went out in the yard and played all day. The lake was gorgeous. After being there for just a little bit, I called to see if we could book for spring break. So sad for us, it's booked. But just wanted to say that, so you would know how amazing it was. It is warm and inviting. Pack your toothbrush and head to the hills. I will be going back!!!

Harold & Mary -- Thank you so much for being so accommodating to my daughter and I! Our trip was a last minute decision but you were wonderful to work with and your cabin is absolutely beautiful -- felt like home! The day before we had to leave my daughter said she could live here, and she's already planning future trips back! I loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings and enjoying my coffee. And your cabin is so convenient to everything. I also really appreciated the fact that the cabin had everything you needed to enjoy your stay so you really did feel like it was a home away from home. We enjoyed hiking to a couple of waterfalls and just relaxing. Next year, we'll be back when the leaves are changing! Thanks again!

Having rented several cabins over the years, this is was the cleanest rental interior we have ever seen. There were more bedrooms than shown in ad with many places to sleep extra people and kids. Wonderful proximity to places of interest and shopping for necessities.

Lake Mary, FLWonderful Georgia cabin!
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in July 2012
Harold and Mary Gaskill were wonderful to work with! They were prompt in all responses to our inquiries. The cabin is in a great location - close to town, but has a rural feeling once you are there. The porch is a wonderful place to relax. The river is beautiful and the trees are filled with birds singing. There is a hummingbird feeder that brings them right up to the porch for an amazing view of them in flight. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cabin Fever and are sure you will too!

What a wonderful place to spend the week.. The house is wonderful.. plenty of room for the kids to enjoy their games and room to get away from everyone..
The kids loved the loft... and of course the bunk beds and twin beds..
Rocking on the rocking chairs and swinging on the swing early in the mornings and evenings was a joy...
The only thing that you need to bring is your clothes and self.. Cabin Fever is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook and serve with... all you need is food and that is only 3 miles away... Walmart and a grocery right down the road...
There is a couple of really good
restaurants not far if you want to eat out..one has wonderful fried pies...
The River is so peaceful and great to swim in... be sure and bring your water shoes as the bottom is little stones...
Cabin Fever has a washer and dryer and a ice maker that will make ice faster than you can use it..
Nights are wonderful to sit and watch the lightenbugs.. the kids loved this..
We would love to go back for the 4th of July but work calls... will be going back next year would like to stay for two weeks next year...
Cabin Fever is close to so many things to do.. Rapids, Cabage Patch Dolls, Rock City, Gold fever, Digging for gems. -

Fran and I have been staying here for many years. Our son and his family and friends have this marked as their place to stay when they visit the North Georgia mountains. Location is great. Central to all surrounding towns. Minutes to lakes, streams for all types of fishing. Minutes to any other type of recreation you have in mind, shopping, antique hunting, hiking, relaxing on the back porch, horseback riding, swimming, boating, bike riding, white water rafting, fishing, relaxing on the back porch, rock hunting, exploring, golf, day trips and oh did I mention relaxing on the back porch (with your favorite beverage). Just a great place to get away to and have a wonderful vacation at a very reasonable price. Mary and Harold are great hosts.

LithiaGreat Place to Stay. Clean, Lots of Space, Convenient!
Left on 05/16/2011 for a stay in July 2010
We have stayed here numerous time. This last time we brought friends with us. We went horseback riding, tubing, panning for gold and spent a day out on the boat and a day shopping. Pottery Barn outlet is not too far!! We have also gone riverrafting while staying here and that was great! This is a very clean cabin with lots of space. There are 3 levels to cabin. There is a loft which our kids really like to play in and there is a downstairs which our kids also like to play and stay (because there is a room with bunkbeds down there.. in addition to a tv area and sitting area.) There is also a bedroom with a king bed downstairs if you want to take a nap in the middle of the day with noone bothering you. We grill out and sit on the porch at night and the kids catch fireflies. In the day you can rent a boat and go on the different lakes which this cabin sits on one of them. Very nice lake!! There is lots to do!

Very peacefull. Found the cabin very comfortable. Grandson's fished and caught many panfish. Found the swing on the deck a good place to relax with a drink and a book. Found many sites close to the cabin to travel to.

Fond memories of our family's relaxing vacation here:
*Greeting the morning on the porch swing, wrapped in blankets, warming our hands on our mugs of coffee & hot chocolate, breathing the crisp air.
*Cooking our meals together; so pleased to find the kitchen equipped with everything we needed & more, even a nice barbecue grill outside.
*My 2 year-old grandson climbing up & down the stairs, playing hide-and-seek, delighting in the "Secret" 3rd floor playroom.
*Enjoying the books & games, home-like comfort, peace & quiet, artistically decorated interior, & cozy fireplace.
*Skipping stones on the lake, taking walks, sighting a deer, looking for hummingbirds at the feeder.
*Sitting out on the porch rocking chairs in the evening, spotting fireflies, watching the moon move between the tree branches, telling stories of the constellations.
*Then turning into our comfortable beds, looking forward to the next day in this beautiful place.
*Area attractions we enjoyed: Meeks Park playground, Southern Tree Plantation (petting zoo, playground), Sleepy Hollow Enterprises (treehouses, whirligigs, fantasy bird houses), lunch at Brasstown Valley Resort, Anna Ruby Falls trail, Amicalola Falls, Helen (Alpine-style town, mini golf), Blairsville's family restaurants.
