On the 1st floor of a traditional Slovenian family house in Ribno, near Lake Bled. Situated in a picturesque village surrounded on all sides by breathtaking mountain scenery. Step outside to embark upon any number of local walks, or visit one of the 3 nearby restaurants/bars. Recently renovated to a high standard, this apartment has 2 bedrooms, a living area with kitchen, dining and seating areas and a modern bathroom with spa shower. There are stunning views from balconies to the front and rear, with direct access from the bedrooms and living areas.

The Gorenjska area is an ideal holiday location renowned for its spectacular scenery and its adventure sports. Lake Bled is surrounded by mountains. It has an island you can visit by pletna to explore its seventeenth century church. A medieval castle sits on a rock high above the lake.
Bled has a large choice of bars, restaurants, coffee bars (serving delicious cakes) and many boutiques and gift shops in addition to supermarkets and other food shops.
Situated near to the motorway system, Bled is within easy reach of all areas of Slovenia and in particular the capital city Ljubljana, the Triglav National Park and the Julian Alps.
The borders with Austria and Italy are close by.

DURING JULY AND AUGUST THE MINIMUM RENTAL IS 7 NIGHTS, SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
There is a damage deposit of €100 per booking. This is refunded if there is no loss or damage.
Tourist tax is payable in addition to the rental fee. This is €1.01 per person per night. Children younger than 7 years go free, children aged 7 to 18 are half price.
A travel cot, high chair and baby bath are available for no fee. There is a fee of €20 for hire of a wooden cot.
A welcome pack of groceries is available, price €30.
Payment by bank transfer is preferred. Credit/Debit cards accepted via PayPal

Just returned from a New Year's break in Ribno nr Lake Bled and what a wonderful place.
The apartment was excellent. Clean,comfortable,warm,well equipped and in a fantastic location. It had two balconies both with breathe taking views.
John- the owner - was very helpful and available if needed. He obviously takes great pride in his property and keeps it well maintained.
Ribno is a good 20 minutes walk from Lake Bled but a very pleasant one. We tended not to go into Bled on an evening either staying in, as the apartment was so comfortable or just going to the local taverna - Pri Stefanu -which did excellent food.
There are lots of walks around Ribno passing through more beautiful villages.In Bled itself there are lots of bars and restaurants and interesting things to see.
A great holiday in a great place. Would definately recommend to friends and will hopefully return. -

What a stunning country! There is a host of things to do in Slovenia, especially in the beautiful Lake Bled area and its surrounding districts. This apartment ticked all the boxes - clean, well laid out, nicely appointed, lovely views from both balconies and all the windows. Everything we could need was provided (and having the owners on site was an additional bonus as they were a font of information for places to go in the area). Having the luxury of 2 balconies gave us the choice of sun or shade to sit in at any time of the day.
Ribno is an enchanting little village, within walking distance of Bled and with a great many interesting walks on its doorstep. The rural sounds of Chanticleer were a joy and although Quazimodo took a little longer to get used to, we now miss them both!
The only addition that we would have liked in the flat was a bath...not that we went dirty, but we would have dearly liked to have soothed our aching limbs in a bath at the end of our exhilarating days out!

Just back from a stay here. This is a great apartment. It's newly renovated and super-clean, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. They even drove us to the train station on our departure day. The apartment is also spacious - we were a group of four and there was more than enough room for us all.
Ribno is also a nice village and much less touristy than Bled itself while still being close by.
Highly recommended.
