my sister and i love staying at the sivler fox. we came up towards boone to find a long term rental property as we are moving to the mountains from wilminton very soon. we used silver fox as our base, but soon found ourselves quitting property searches early to enjoy the great accommodations at the fox. we grilled and baked and had a great outdoor dinner, all before a fantastic 30 minute light show (and surround sound) from god that we enjoyed on the back deck though the trees. a show that outdid any fireworks expo ever.
the cabin is very very clean, and feels very modern albiet its rustic authenticity. all in all, we will be back. the wits end group was fantastic, esp my hometown gal, new friend, Katie.
