The view from the balcony is great. The furniture on balcony not so great.
Whole unit needs some upgrading, from furniture to kitchen supplies. Just looking a little dated and like its furnished with hand-me-downs.insufficient pots and pans for our month-long stay. -

The vacation home was quiet, relaxing with wonderful views. It was very clean. The only compliant was the queen size bed was uncomfortable. The layout of the home was ideal. A large den and kitchen divided the bedrooms. The location was very convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock and the parkway.

GAQuiet, affordable family get-away, walking distance of ski slope

Good location for winter escape, between Blowing Rock & Boone, at applachian Ski Resort. Roads a little steep but kept clear in snow/ice weather. Roomy full sized kitchen for family. Unit is clean and fresh, some sound reverberation within apartment, no neightborhood/traffic background noise disturbance. Washer/dryer & cleaning supplies in unit make extended stays comfortable; does not include sheets, towels, tp--extra charge to rent or buy/bring your own. 2 bedroom, 2 bath (1shower, 1 non-jetted tub); master & twin bedrooms are swapped, a little awkward at shower time but OK. Advertized to sleep 4 but would fit 6 people easily. Nice mountain view & deck. Price a little high at peak ski/Christmas season but otherwise comparable.
