FloridaSimply Wonderful!
Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in February 2013
The Campbell Cottage is definitely one to return to. The location is ideal...the ease of getting to the cottage has beaten all areas we've traveled in the past. Being so close to everything you'd need, it makes more time to relax instead of extensive driving to do stuff. The home is very clean and nicely decorated. Accomodating pets along with the fenced yard makes it very easy for the furry friends to play! Flat parking was such a relief due to the heavy snow we got, being a Floridian...those slopes can get a little "nervy".
Just a wonderful town and Jenkinns has such a nice location to the cottage, about 3 minitues!!! -

We enjoyed the Campbell Cottage and our stay in Blowing Rock. The location was perfect for us, and the layout of the house was perfect for our family. The dog especially enjoyed the back yard, and we were glad to be able to bring him!

We loved our 2 nights spent in Blowing Rock. The house was very cozy and perfect for our family to spend some time in the mountains~the price was right as well. We brought our dog so the back yard was perfect and he loved his time there too!

The location of the house is wonderful...the bathroom situation is another story...the people staying upstairs must go to the basement to shower..No bedspread on the main floor bed...looks very sad...yard is wonderful...because of the yard and location will stay again...also one of the few pet friendly houses in town...

We enjoyed our stay at the Campbell Cottage (04/07/11 to 04/10/11). Felt right at home here and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog Maxx.
It is in a great location and so close to everything in Blowing Rock. Only regret was that we did not stay longer than 3 nights.
We will definitely come back.
Thanks,

Campbell Cottage
Pfafftown, NCCozy but needs maintenance
Left on 02/24/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We rented the Campbell Cottage because it was a good rental price. This house is cozy and spacious. We enjoyed our stay but suggest that some maintence be done. The beds should be placed on sturdier bed frames since the master bed fell over when leaned on. The downstairs bed was on the floor not in the bedframe. The bathroom drain upstairs was broken and had to be worked on to keep the water in the tub. The dishwasher wants to fall out of the cabinet and the front door suspension rod is coming out of the wood.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. I reviewed your survey from your stay and it appears that these issues were brought to our attention after you departed the property. We would have been happy to have either rectified the problem or moved you to another home. Thank you for bringing the issues to our attention. Since your departure we tightened the head board on the master bed frame, repaired the bath drain, reconnected and secured the storm door arm, and firmly affixed the dishwasher. The basement room has not been completed and that is why the bed didn’t have a frame yet. The home is listed as a 3 bedroom not 4 bedroom. We appreciate customers letting us know when there are issues so they can be dealt with quickly and not affect your stay.

Charming cottage and wonderful deck to relax. The house is a little tight with a lot of people in it since it has narrow entry ways. It had a lot of kitchen ware to cook with and was pet friendly.

We enjoyed our three days at Campbell Cottege. We did have a few problems with the electricity, which was attended to by Jenkins with alacrity. The only other problem, a neighborhood power outage, was a one time deal and certainly nothing we would attribute to the cottege. We found the cottege to be a good value, just understand it is not one of these 2005 built condos, but a 1950 -60 era home. It was nice for us, 2 grandparents, one daughter, and 4 grandkids (age 5 to 13). If i were to go back next year, I'd try to get Campbell.

Boca Raton, FLWonderful! Better than we imagined!!

We traveled from Florida to spend time with our youngest son and his family who live in the Blowing Rock area. We had a phenomenal time -- the cottage was very accomodating. Felt like home right from the start. Very nicely furnished and very, very clean. Plenty of room for four adults. We loved the big fenced in back yard, perfect for two small dogs to romp. The location was great -- just minutes from a Food Lion, many restaurants, downtown Blowing Rock and Boone. It was good having DSL and several Tv's. We have many happy memories of this trip and I think the cottage played a big role. A really nice place to go back to after all the sight seeing. Jenkins Realtors was great. We will definitely come back next year to Campbell Cottage. No complaints.
