You will love this comfortable 1 bedroom, plus loft, 1.5 bath A-frame cottage. This private retreat is located 4 miles from downtown Blowing Rock off Hwy 221 and only 3 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. You are minutes away from town or outdoor activities. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The cottage is tucked away, so it is perfect for that couple looking for a romantic getaway (not to mention the sunsets are amazing). I loved the quaint "country" decor and was impressed by the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen came fully stocked which was great for a cozy night in. All the local attractions were very close- the longest drive was 20min to visit the caverns. The staff was also excellent and and told us the best places to visit. We absolutely loved it and are planning to visit again for our first anniversary!

Loved the location and the view. Perfect place for the dogs to have some room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors and deck.

distance from town was good. didn't expect rental to be near "farm" home. road was a bit difficult. Home was very clean but quite outdated in bath and kitchen. It met basic needs and we had a nice time overall. porch and view were great.

We found everything to be clean and comfortable. Our only critic would be the smell and browness of the water and the kitchen could use a large pot.
