Raleigh NCA Little TLC
Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in December 2012
A Little TLC is a wonderful place to stay . The home is so welcoming . It truly is a family retreat . It exceeded our expectations . The pictures don't do this wonderful home justice . It is a large home with many gathering areas or , if you need some peace and quiet , areas to escape . We were so pleased and will return . Thank you Jenkins realty and the owners of TLC for sharing TLC.

NCHomey, kick-back house
Left on 09/20/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The grounds around this house are really charming, and the house met our needs because we needed four bedrooms at a reasonable price. There's also a large wrap-around porch that we used a lot. The owners give a warm, homey feeling by providing a number of little touches and local info. The downsides were that some of the furniture is rather tired and the basement (sort of an extra LR) has a strong mildew odor. There are a lot of birdfeeders, which is nice, but the owners had very large bird food containers in the 'fridge with notes that they must stay in the 'fridge. We needed that space for food. Overall, the house is good for a family vacation.

Everything was great - $60 for wifi is a little ridiculous but other than that we were happy campers.

Chesapeake, VAA Little TLC is conveniently located for our activities.
Left on 07/20/2011 for a stay in July 2011
A Little Tlc's furnishings were perfect for the 8 of us. The only downside was not being able to make use of the downstairs because of wet carpeting and overall dampness. The grounds/yard was great for children and we appreciated being able to bring our OEB (old English bulldog). We'll be back!

Palm Beach, FloridaOur Wonderful Week in the Mountains
Left on 05/08/2009 for a stay in June 2008
We had the most awesome vacation at TLC. The house is wonderful, with an authentic country appeal and lots of quiet places to explore. The house is huge and well stocked with everything you need to make you feel right at home. We enjoyed being able to visit the neighboring towns and the top of Grandfather Mountain where we crossed the suspension bridge and experienced the view of a lifetime. We loved waking up each morning to our very own wildlife show happening right outside our window and we thouroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. We appreciated being able to "just hang around the house" all day with our friends and we were never bored. Thanks for providing such a wide variety of games and puzzles which gave us many memorable bonding times together. We will be back again this September to enjoy the leaves changing for the Fall season. We can't wait!! We highly recommend this experience to everyone! Enjoy!

The Huffman Family
Palm Beach County, Florida"OUR" Vacation home
Left on 04/09/2009 for a stay in August 2000
We have "come home" to a Little TLC year after year. It is by far our favorite, Spring, Summer and Fall. The pictures do not do it justice.
While I enjoy the whole house, and my husband loves the walks in the woods surrounding us, the teenagers take over the downstairs familyroom where they have "their own" warm and cozy retreat away from the old folks. They even sleep downstairs. They like the addtion of the new electric fireplace. The wood burning fireplace used to make downstairs a bit too hot. The large video library keeps them entertained even on rainy days. The younger children paly in the yard till dusk every evening.
Things we all enjoy like Horseback riding, fishing and excellent hiking are all mere minutes away for us. Morning Tea on the deck, while feeding the abundant birds and small critters every morning are a special favorite of mine.
TLC is "The Huffman's Summer Home Away From Home" and will be for years to come. -

Charlotte, NCGreat home with nice yard!
Left on 01/22/2009 for a stay in January 2009
We had a wonderful time at this home, and the yard was great for our children. The yard is very large with woods behind, so great for the children to run and explore. The home layout was great, and it has a large kitchen and nice woodburning fireplace in den. The home is very clean and heats up very quickly and stays very warm on the main and 3rd floor. It was also a nice location as it was only minutes to downtown Blowing Rock and Hawksnest. The only issues we had were the basement was very cold even with the electric fireplace turned on (so we simply didn't use the basement space) and the stairs going to the 3rd floor is open to the main floor with no railing on the outside....so dangerous for small children. It was a great vacation, and we made great memories at the Little TLC Chalet! We would stay here again!

Trinity, North CarolinaAwesome home- Great for relaxing
Left on 11/11/2008 for a stay in July 2008
We had 14 people stay in this home for vacation, and we were never "on top of each other." It is very spacious and well maintained. 6 of the 14 people were children ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. They were never bored. The yard is great for playing outside and you are not far from downtown (with the candy store and ice cream store). There is a wrap around porch/deck that is great for reading a book and relaxing. There were a few minor problems with the house, but they were all just "wear and tear". Jenkins realty was great to work with. We had to call them because on of the TV's would not work. They came out the same day we called to fix it. They were always very helpful on the phone and over the internet. If we decide to vacation here again, we will be sure to use Jenkins Realty and try to get this house again. We cam during the summer, and I bet it is even more beautiful during the winter months.
