Experience the majesty of the Blue Ridge Mountains from this spectacular Arts And Crafts built home in the exclusive gated community of Greystone IV, perched at 3940’ elevation overlooking the Eastern Continental Divide! Every detail has been covered to meet your needs. Enter the home’s main door from a classic cobblestone path. A few steps through the foyer, lit by an overhead Tiffany chandelier, lead you into the great room with its two-story cathedral ceilings and wall of windows overlooking the stunning mountain range views. The right side of the great room is a living area consisting of couches and love seats arranged around... a floor-to-ceiling stone gas log fireplace and an entertainment center housing an HDTV, a 5 disc DVD player, and a selection of family board games. A round dining table is in the middle of the room, with roomy seating for 8, plus room for four more in padded chairs at the kitchen island. The kitchen features sandstone and granite counters with built in gas stove and oven, with a large island in the middle. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with folding stations and cabinets, and a door to the garage, which has a bay available for guest use. On either side of the foyer is a luxurious master suite. The suite to the right of the foyer has a King bed, a flatscreen HDTV, French doors to the deck, a large walkin closet, a PC workstation with printer, and a private bath with a tiled shower. The suite to the left of the foyer also has a King bed, a walkin closet, built in TV shelf, and a private bath with a tiled shower. Descend the padded carpet stairs to the lower level. This entire floor has 9 foot high ceiling heights, adding to a feeling of expansiveness. Walk through double doors to the huge entertainment room. This room meets every imaginable entertainment desire- at one end is a shelf of novels for a relaxing afternoon of reading, along with a regulation length pool table, a foosball table, a gas log stone fireplace, a pair of couches, and an HDTV with a Wii and Guitar Hero. There are two bedrooms on this level. One room has two twin beds and a closet, and the other room has a full bed and a twin bed. This room also has doors to the lower level deck, as well as access to the full bath. The bathroom and a room with a twin daybed is between the two bedrooms. Upstairs is another bedroom suite. This room has a Queen bed with a twin daybed, a TV, fan, and built in bookshelves. The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub with a shower. Step outside onto the large decks and soak in the stunning mountain views, where from your South-facing position, you can watch the sun rise and set. The main level deck has a gas grill piped into the home’s main propane tank, a patio set, a rustic log-style picnic table, chaise lounges, and a hot tub will be installed soon. The lower level deck has a hammock, a loveseat glider, and chairs. A flight of outside stairs connects the upper and lower level decks. If the air is still enough, you may hear the rumble of a 17’ waterfall located in the valley below. Whatever your pleasure, this luxurious house is sure to have it. When you’re ready to venture out and explore the High Country, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find that it is located between Boone and Blowing Rock off the Blue Ridge Parkway, only 10 minutes into either town, and just minutes away from all that this area has to offer in every season.
